There is an open valley with an area of about 1.2 million mu in the southwest of Tuoli County between baluke mountain and Mayle mountain. At the lowest part of the valley, there is a wetland formed by snow water. In spring or wet years, a small lake is formed in the middle of the wetland, which is called Sazi in Kazakh. Shazi grassland includes all the scenery of the western grassland. Shazi grassland is surrounded by mountains on all sides. There are pools of water in the hinterland of the grassland. More than ten Mound Tombs are distributed on the east side of the lake. The terrain features three types of landforms: Mountain (subalpine, middle and low mountains, hills), sloping plain and valley. In the sun, the golden grassland sways in the breeze and waves, which makes people feel very happy. Cattle and sheep, yurt and the blue sky are like a ladle of water spilled out of the window.
Shazi lake is like a light blue ribbon, soft and beautiful. The golden flowers everywhere, cattle and sheep like clouds, and yurts like dots make up a picture of the ancient silk road full of poetic and picturesque feelings, which can make people fully experience the romantic feelings of returning to nature and taste the long and unique national culture outside the Great Wall. It is not only a good place for summer vacation and leisure, but also a resort for grassland tourism and summer recuperation. Shazi lake is 90 kilometers away from the county seat, adjacent to 318 provincial road, and the traffic is very convenient.

Modern transportation technology shortens the geographical distance, but does not shorten the cultural distance between ethnic groups. In this world, how can people of different classes, races, colors and beliefs coexist peacefully? In China, the problem is particularly serious. Ding Yan noticed that most Chinese people are curious about the border areas, eager to understand the current situation there, rather than just satisfied with the introduction of geography and the description of facial makeup. But the reality of Xinjiang is so incredible, full of all kinds of misreading. In Ding Yan's view, it is perhaps the most effective way to understand Xinjiang that people do not pretend, disguise or evade, and truly reveal the normal life of ordinary people.
