Dong Ziyuan

Dongziyuan, located in the center of Dezhou Economic Development Zone, is the first of the ten scenic spots in Dezhou. It is a tourist attraction built in Dezhou to commemorate Dong Zhongshu, a great scholar of the Western Han Dynasty. From the Dongzi Culture Street on Dongfanghong East Road, many painting and calligraphy museums, art museums, and mahogany and stone ceramic art museums are located on both sides of the street. That is to say, you can feel a strong cultural atmosphere. At the end of the street is the core scenic spot, Dongzi reading desk. In front of the reading desk, a six meter statue of Dong Zi stands pointing to the sky, which seems to be the only Confucian. After the statue is the main building of the scenic spot - Dongzi reading desk. The reading platform spans more than 80 meters from north to south, and the reading platform hall is 11.8 meters high. In front of the hall is a memorial archway of zhengyimingdao. For some reason, the two halls on the reading platform are not open, so we can only have a distant view.

Dong Ziyuan

Dongziyuan is a tourist attraction built by Dezhou people in memory of Dong Zhongshu, a great Confucian in the Western Han Dynasty.

In his youth, Dong Zhongshu studied Confucianism in Dezhou for 13 years. In history, he built a reading desk for Dong Zi. Dezhou Economic Development Zone will be rebuilt by mining historical resources and building cultural industry. Since September 2007, construction has started, covering a total area of 743 mu (from Dongfeng Road and bridge to Sanba Road), with an investment of 500 million yuan. The theme of the whole scenic spot is Confucian culture, and the creative theme is "rejuvenation of the nation, great rule of the world", vigorously promoting Confucian culture.

Including Dongzi Culture Street, Dongzi reading desk and Liuhu Academy. Dongzi cultural street covers an area of 100 mu, with a construction area of 50000 square meters. It is divided into two streets, Shuntian street and Bowen street. It is taken from the sentence "follow the nature and respond to the people, and make great contributions to the blog". Specifically, it is divided into six areas: celebrity calligraphy and painting area, folk art area, antique jade area, food and tea art area, supplemented by Dezhou history exhibition hall, Dezhou ceramics exhibition hall, rare stone exhibition hall, classical furniture hall, etc. Set leisure and entertainment and antique business, cultural exchanges as one. The five buildings along the river are named after the "three cardinal guides and five constant rules" proposed by Dong Zhongshu, which are "benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom and faith".

Across the river, the "three strategies to consolidate the foundation" water archway was built. "Three strategies" refers to Dong Zhongshu's three strategies of "harmony between man and nature", "great unification" and "respecting Confucianism alone";

The wide water in front of us is called Liuhu lake. The small island in the center of the lake is the "not peeping garden" area. A small garden of extraordinary craftsmanship will be built on the island after the Suzhou garden. (Dong Zhongshu studied hard and concentrated. He had not been to his back garden for three years, leaving behind the allusion that he could not see the garden.) There are three buildings "learning", "thinking" and "Yixing". It's a place to make friends with tea.

There are three bridges connecting Huxin Island, Renhe bridge connecting Huxin island and cultural street, Langqiao bridge in the distance is called "Tianhe bridge", and DIHE bridge connecting Huxin island and small pavilion. Chinese people pay attention to "harmony is the most important thing" and "family harmony is the most important thing". Dong Zhongshu also stresses "harmony between man and nature".

The small pavilion in the middle of the lake is called Shufan Pavilion. In the Qing Dynasty, the poet Tian Xiangcheng (Tian Wen's younger brother) built "Shufan Pavilion" on the Bank of Liuhu lake.

The stone boat on the shore is called Chunqiu boat. The boat is a ship, carrying on history and carrying on the cause. Dong Zhongshu's spring and Autumn Annals have the meaning of time change and historical development.

Liuhu Academy provides a place for the study of Dongzi culture. It is a place for large-scale conference, academic research and creation.

The statue of Dong Zhongshu standing in front of the stage is created by Qian Shaowu. The statue is 6 meters high and its base is 2 meters. The sculpture is mainly composed of the simple and crude bulk of the Han Dynasty. Combination of square and round shape. The shoulders are square, heavy and powerful. The chest is slightly round, and appears to be large and capacious. The knees gradually square down to increase the sense of stability. The statue holds his right hand high and his index finger to the sky, which shows his idea of "harmony between man and nature" and his self-confidence. The eye adopts the typical "phoenix eye", showing abnormal wisdom and introverted character. The whole statue depicts a "great Confucian" with superb wisdom, gentle and introverted, principled but not stubborn and narrow-minded.

After the statue is the main building of the scenic spot - Dongzi reading desk. The reading platform spans more than 80 meters from north to south, with a height of 24.8 meters from the platform base to the roof, of which the platform base is 13 meters high and the reading platform hall is 11.8 meters high. In front of the hall is a memorial archway called "zhengyimingdao". The four characters of zhengyimingdao were written by Emperor Qianlong. Now the four characters of zhengyimingdao are in the back hall of shufangzhai in the Palace Museum.

The front hall is "Fanlu hall", and the scene is Dong Zhongshu's lecture in Dezhou. The back hall is different from the front hall, which is more solemn and solemn. Here is the scene of Dong Zhongshu and Emperor Hanwu's strategy.

Both the architectural style and interior furnishings keep the characteristics of the man who has influenced China for two thousand years.

Out of the main hall, stand at the top of the scenic spot and have a panoramic view of the whole park.

The construction of Dong Zi reading station and Dong Zi Yuan attracted the central education television station to produce and broadcast three series of propaganda films, which triggered a discussion upsurge of Dong Zhongshu's "heaven and man induction" thought at home and abroad.

In order to further enhance the overall image of the city, beautify the living environment and create the tourism industry, the development zone has newly excavated 6.2km river course and built 14 new bridges (gates) to realize the connection of water system among shaheyuan scenic area, dongziyuan and Changhe Park, Jianhe ecological wetland and jinxiuchuan scenic area. After the three rivers are linked, the word "state" of Dezhou will be formed, implying that there is a state of virtue and virtue.
