Nanfeng temple, formerly known as Zeng Gong temple, is located on the Northeast Bank of Daming Lake and adjacent to Huibo tower in the north. It was built in memory of Zeng Gong, a writer of the Northern Song Dynasty. Zeng Gong (1019-1083), Zi Gu, was a Jinshi in the Jiajin period of the Northern Song Dynasty. He was born in Nanfeng, Jiangxi Province, and was known as "Mr. Nanfeng" in the world. He was an official of Zhongshu. Xining five to six years (1072-1073) served as the governor of Qizhou. During his term of office, he advocated the construction of water conservancy and cut off the powerful, which won the hearts of the people. He is one of the eight literary masters in Tang and Song Dynasties, and has written many works, such as Yuanfeng Lei Gao, xuyuanfeng Lei Gao, Longping Ji, etc. In 1829, Tang Shipei, the magistrate of Licheng County, was rebuilt, with only three halls. In the early days of liberation, it was integrated with the Yangong Temple (only the foundation of the temple was destroyed, which was called yangongtai) on the west side of Yan Xuzi, the water god, and the Zhanggong (Yao) temple, the governor of Shandong Province in 1886, which was renamed Nanfeng temple. Today's temple is a quiet and elegant classical garden, covering an area of 2535 square meters. It is composed of the main hall, Theater Hall, waterside pavilion, veranda and other buildings. In the north is the main hall, in the south is the mansion, with half wall flower fans and hanging couplets: "the author of the Northern Song Dynasty's Yideng biography, the character of Nanfeng belongs to Mr." The theater tower on the west side of the main hall is towering to the south. There are two floors around the building, the stage in the South and seats in other places. In the past, there was a teahouse for tea and opera. Opposite to the hall, there are three waterside pavilions near the lake bank, surrounded by corridors, surrounded by water in the East, West and North, and lotus plants inside. It is a good place to enjoy the scenery. On the east side of the hall is Yan Gongtai, which was built in the late Ming Dynasty. On it is the "Mingchang Bell Pavilion". It was built in 1993 with eight columns on all sides and double eaves on the top. In the pavilion, an ancient bell of 8000 kg, originally cast in the bell tower temple on the South Bank of the lake during the reign of Ming and Chang in the Jin Dynasty (1190-1196), is hung. In the East, there is a small stream, close to it, with bamboo trees and hedgerows. Flowers and trees in the courtyard, green willows and green cypresses. In October 1987, Jianmen calligraphy and painting museum was set up in the North Hall, displaying 26 pieces of Mr. Sun Mo fo's calligraphy treasures and 12 letters. Sun Mo fo, also known as "old man of Jianmen", is a 104 year old man from Laiyang, Shandong Province. Following Sun Yat Sen's revolution for many years, he was open-minded, self-cultivation and chastity, less than fame and wealth. In his early years, he studied Liu Datong's calligraphy and was guided by Wang Xu and Kang Youwei. In his later years, he studied Tang sun Guoting's calligraphy notation and put pride in the end of the pen. He cultivated his sentiment with calligraphy and formed a simple and refined artistic style.

Zeng Gong loved the scenery of Jinan's lakes and mountains. He built pavilions and bridges in Daming Lake, and all of them chanted. He was loved by the people of Qizhou. When he was transferred from Qizhou, the people gathered on the streets, pulled up suspension bridges, and closed the city gate to retain him. After Zeng Gong left, the people still did not forget and chose the site to build a memorial temple.
Zeng Gong has been intelligent and studious since he was a child. He has won the appreciation of Ouyang Xiu and is a teacher of Ouyang Xiu. He is well versed in history and studies. Wang Anshi praised Zeng Gong with the sentence "Zeng Zi Wen Zhang Shi is rare, the river of water, the battle of Han and stars". He has written 50 volumes of Yuan Feng Lei Gao, 40 volumes of Xu Yuan Feng Lei Gao and 10 volumes of Yuan Feng Lei Gao Wai Ji.
Zeng Gong

Nanfeng Theater
On the opposite side of the ancestral hall is Nanfeng theater, which is a larger ancient theater in Jinan. Founded in 1894 in the late Qing Dynasty, it has a history of more than 100 years. It is the largest and oldest existing ancient wooden theater building in Jinan City.
The building is square, wide and tall, with a building area of about 300 square meters, and the hall area of nearly 200 square meters. It has green tiles, whitewashed walls, carved beams and painted buildings, painted with paint, and supported by red columns.
In the south is the stage, in the East is the grandstand, and in the west is the balcony. The stage is divided into two layers, with wooden ladders for climbing. The table can be set up up to watch the opera and enjoy tea. It can accommodate more than 200 people to watch the performance at the same time.

Yuhe Hall
On the south side of Nanfeng ancestral temple, near the lake bank, there are three waterside pavilions, named "rain lotus hall", with red column carved windows, green tile cornice, Corridor around, water on East and West and lotus planted inside.
It is said that this is the place where Emperor Qianlong and his daughter Xia Yuhe met and fell in love in the TV play huanzhu gege. In the south of the waterside pavilion, on the surface of the Ming Lake, there are luxuriant reeds, fish leaping and birds singing, lotus leaves waving in the wind, red lotus sending fragrance, and the scenery is elegant and pleasant.
It would be more elegant if you sit idly by the fence in the light of the light rain, listen to the rain beating on the blue lotus, and think about the legendary relationship between Emperor Qianlong and the girl of the rain lotus on the Bank of Daming Lake.
