Jinhua normal school
Jinhua normal school came into being under the background of "Abolishing the imperial examination and prospering the school" in the late Qing Dynasty.
In 1907, Zong shunnian, the magistrate of Jinhua, petitioned to change the examination institute (now the site of Shiwang's residence) to Jinhua Junior Normal School.
In December of the first year of Xuantong (1909), the first batch of simple science students completed their studies and became the first batch of normal school graduates at the end of the Qing Dynasty.
In 1913, the school was renamed the seventh Normal School of Zhejiang Province.
In 1940, it was called Zhejiang Jinhua normal school. In 1953, Zhejiang Provincial Department of education listed it as one of the four key normal schools in Zhejiang Province.
In 1988, because of "outstanding achievements in training qualified teachers in basic education", it was listed as one of the first batch of secondary normal schools commended by the State Education Commission.
In 1994, we began to recruit "five-year consistent system" junior college classes.
Jinhua health school
Jinhua health school is the only national key health school in Zhejiang Province.
Jinhua health school, formerly known as Jinhua evangelical Hospital Senior Nurse vocational school, was founded in 1915.
In 1929, it was renamed as "private evangelical senior nursing vocational school".
In September 1951, it was renamed "Jinhua evangelical hospital nursing school".
In September 1952, it was named "Jinhua Health School of Zhejiang Province".
In 1958, Jinhua medical college was established on the basis of medical school.
In 1960, medical college was upgraded to medical college. On May 8, 1962, the students in Quxian health school were incorporated into Jinhua health school.
In 1980, it was identified as the only "national key health school" in Zhejiang Province by the Ministry of health.
In 1994, the State Education Commission awarded the honor of "national key general secondary vocational school".
Jinhua agricultural school
Jinhua agricultural school is the first national key agricultural secondary professional school in Zhejiang Province.
Jinhua agricultural school, formerly known as Zhejiang provincial experimental agricultural school, was founded in July 1933.
LAN Jin, Professor of Agricultural College of Peking University and famous soil scientist, was invited by Chen Bulei, then member of Zhejiang provincial government and director of Education Department, to build the school at the former site of Yajishan primary school in Jinhua. Chiang Kai Shek wrote "Zhejiang animal husbandry" to encourage her.
In December 1967, the school moved to Jinhua Lake seawall.
In 1980, it became one of the national key technical secondary schools.
In September 1997, Jinhua staff college was merged into Jinhua agricultural school.
Yiwu normal school
Yiwu normal school was founded in August 1956.
In December 1984, the dual leadership of prefecture and county was transferred to the direct leadership of the region.
In August 1986, Yan Keats, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, inscribed the eight character school spirit of "unity, preciseness, realism and innovation.",
In the same year, Ai Qing, a famous poet, wrote the name of Yiwu normal school in Zhejiang Province.
Jinhua School of trade and Economics
Jinhua School of trade and economics was founded in 1978. Its name is Zhejiang Jinhua supply and marketing school. It is subordinate to Zhejiang supply and marketing cooperative and entrusted to Jinhua supply and Marketing Cooperative (Provincial Office).
During the summer vacation of 1979, the school moved to Jinhua and rented two warehouses of Jinhua tea factory in the former site of Jinhua East Street as temporary school buildings.
In May 1980, the school moved to the west side of jindatang, a suburb of Jinhua.
In May 1995, the school changed its name to Jinhua School of trade and economics.
Zhejiang Agricultural Machinery School
Zhejiang agricultural machinery school is the only secondary professional school in Zhejiang agricultural machinery industry.
Founded in 1979, the school has been awarded the honorary titles of qualified secondary vocational school by the State Education Commission, Zhejiang provincial (Ministry) key secondary vocational school and so on.
In 1994, under the leadership of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, Jinhua Institute of technology began to be established;
In March 1995, it was renamed Zhejiang agricultural machinery school.
Jinhua Vocational and Technical College
In September 1993, the golden hair company, the provincial Talent Development Association and the retired teachers association of Zhejiang Normal University jointly wrote a paper to the Provincial Education Commission for instructions on how to organize Jinhua University.
In January 1994, the Provincial Education Commission submitted to the provincial government the request for instructions on preparing to build a private Jinhua Institute of technology.
In April 1994, Zhejiang agricultural machinery school was selected as the school site of the Institute of technology.
In July 1994, the Provincial College Accreditation Committee gave feedback to the Provincial Education Committee.
In July 1994, Jinhua Municipal government and Zhejiang University of technology signed a "joint school running agreement" and agreed that Jinhua Institute of technology should be affiliated to Zhejiang University of technology. As a branch of Jinhua University, Jinhua University of technology began to enroll 100 students in three majors in the autumn of 1994.
On July 20, 1994, Zhejiang provincial government further clarified the management system, school running scale, major setting, enrollment and employment, funding investment and other matters of the college; engaged in Higher Vocational and technical education.
On September 25, 1994, with the approval of Zhejiang Provincial People's government, Jinhua Institute of technology was established.
In the middle of October 1994, the State Education Commission organized an expert group to set up a jury in Colleges and universities, which inspected the college and put forward guiding opinions;
In December 1994, Jinhua university development foundation was established, and the first board of directors composed of 48 members was elected.
In May 1997, the provincial government sent a letter to the State Education Commission asking for the establishment of a private Jinhua Institute of technology;
In June 1997, the Yan Keats library was established.
In July 1997, according to the bidding situation, the Provincial Education Commission asked the State Education Commission to change the name of "Jinhua Institute of technology" to "private Jinhua Vocational and Technical College";
In December 1997, the evaluation committee of the State Education Commission held a meeting in Ningbo to study the application for running schools in various places, and discussed and passed the application report of Jinhua Vocational and technical college;
On April 6, 1998, the Ministry of Education officially approved the establishment of "private Jinhua Vocational and Technical College",
On May 26, 1998, the municipal Party committee and the municipal government decided to merge Zhejiang agricultural machinery school with the college;
In May 1998, the branch of science and engineering was established. And for the first time, the "full-time self-taught examination class" was opened, enrolling 45 students.
In August 1998, the "Jinhua higher education planning and layout high-speed leading group" was established, and it was decided to allocate 1028 mu of land in the urban area of Dahuangshan to build a new campus; in December, Jinhua agricultural school, Jinhua normal school (including the former Yiwu normal school), Jinhua Trade and economic school and other schools were merged.
In the autumn of 1998, the first batch of freshmen recruited by the college in its own name were enrolled; in early September, the college set up its headquarters and moved to the Yan Keats library building.
On December, 1998, the economic and trade branch, the agronomy branch and the humanities normal branch were established respectively. On this basis, the college established the general college, and set up the dean's office, education department, key office, financial accounting center and other departments directly under the college. So far, the college has four branches and a Yan Keats library, and has five majors. There are 1607 college students, 643 faculty members, 66 people with deputy senior titles or above, and 3 doctors.
In May 1999, the college cooperated with Zhejiang University to build Jinhua teaching station of Distance Education College of Zhejiang University, and began to recruit 240 undergraduate students.
In January 2000, the college set up its office.
In March 2000, the college set up adult education department and scientific research department.
In 2000, Jinhua Municipal Party committee decided to upgrade Jinhua health school as a whole to the medical school of Jinhua Vocational and technical college.
On March 7, 2001, the college added Foreign Affairs Office, personnel department, Student Department, security department and technical secondary school department.
On June 27, 2001, Jinhua Municipal government decided to add the First Affiliated Hospital and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Jinhua university to the Affiliated Hospital, Central Hospital and people's Hospital of Jinhua University.
On September 19, 2001, Jinhua Municipal government decided to add Jinhua University (Preparatory) brand to Jinhua Vocational and technical college.
On January 14, 2003, the Ministry of education agreed to change Jinhua Vocational and technical college into a public university.
In July 2019, it was recognized as a national high-quality vocational college by the Ministry of education.
On January 19, 2020, the unveiling ceremony of Jinhua Institute of Technology (Preparatory) and the awarding ceremony of Jinhua Institute of higher learning were held. Jinhua Institute of higher learning signed strategic cooperation agreements with Xiamen University, Beihang Jinhua Beidou Research Institute and Hangzhou Anheng Information Technology Co., Ltd. respectively. The construction of the first public undergraduate university in Jinhua history was officially launched by the municipal government.
