Huangshi science and Technology Museum

Huangshi science and Technology Museum was established on June 25, 2007, started construction on September 2, 2009, and completed and opened on August 18, 2010. Han Qide, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and chairman of the China Association for science and technology, wrote the name of the museum in person.

Scale of Library

The new museum has a total construction area of 10003 m2 and a planned land area of 30.93 mu. There are 4 floors above the ground and the building height is 23.6m. The estimated total investment is 35.7328 million yuan (excluding land acquisition and outdoor works). The building looks like a science and technology boat moored on the northwest Bank of Cihu, waiting to set sail.

Library design

The new science and Technology Museum is designed by Zhongnan Architectural Design Institute. It is the first time for Huangshi City to implement the agent construction system for government invested projects.
