Shenzhen Wangye museum was approved by Guangdong Provincial Department of culture in February 2009 and reported to the State Administration of cultural relics for the record. On October 21, 2012, Wangye museum was officially opened. The logo of Wangye museum was written by Professor Su Bai of Peking University. The museum is located on the third floor of Longhua cultural center, Longhua District, Shenzhen. Is a collection, display, research, exhibition of ancient cultural relics based non-state-owned Museum. It covers an area of 2120 square meters. It has a collection of nearly 10000 cultural relics and more than 40000 specimens, including rare relics and unique collections in the world. After two grading and appraisal, there are 55 first-class cultural relics, 81 second-class cultural relics and 68 third-class cultural relics in the collection. Among all the state-owned and non-state-owned cultural relics collection institutions in Shenzhen, it has the largest collection of first-class national cultural relics.
Collection
Shenzhen Wangye museum is divided into four exhibition halls, with a collection of more than 10000 pieces (groups) of various precious cultural relics and more than 40000 pieces of important specimens. The collection covers Shang, Zhou, Warring States, Qin, Han, Tang, song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. The materials include gold, silver, copper, iron, jade, stone, lacquer, pottery, porcelain, wood, bone and many other categories. In particular, the bone slips of the Warring States period, bamboo slips of the Chu and Han Dynasties, pottery inscriptions in Yecheng, early Buddha statues in China, ceramics of the Tang Dynasty, red and green colored porcelain of the song and Jin Dynasties, ancient ceramic pillows, epitaph inscriptions of the song and Jin Dynasties, ancient City relics in the Central Plains, Zoroastrianism stone inscriptions of the song and Jin Dynasties, clay pottery molds of the song and Jin Dynasties, and Jun kiln remains are featured and of large scale. Among them, the collection of white porcelain in Sui and Tang Dynasties and red and green porcelain in song and Jin Dynasties is recognized as the first in the world by the international academic and Tibetan circles.
In 2014, 32 first-class cultural relics, 60 second-class cultural relics and 61 third-class cultural relics were identified and approved by Guangdong cultural relics identification station; on December 6, 2016, 23 first-class cultural relics, 21 second-class cultural relics and 7 third-class cultural relics were identified and approved by Shenzhen Institute of cultural relics and archaeology. As of December 2016, 55 national first-class cultural relics, 81 second-class cultural relics and 68 third-class cultural relics have been approved. Among all the state-owned and non-state-owned cultural relics collection institutions in Shenzhen, it has the largest collection of first-class national cultural relics.
Development history
Wangye Museum in Shenzhen is a non-state-owned Museum of ancient Chinese cultural relics. The number, quantity and cross generational collection of the museum are rare in China. The museum is located in Longhua New District, bringing new cultural enjoyment to the residents of the new district.

Mr. Yan Yan, founder and current director of Wangye Museum, has been engaged in cultural relics collection for more than 30 years.

For the basic display and special exhibition based on the collection of Wangye Museum in Shenzhen, the audience can take photos, but do not use flash and tripod.
