Changsha Normal School solemnly held the unveiling of Xu Teli's bronze statue, the opening of Xu Teli Memorial Hall and the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the school. More than 120 people from all walks of life wrote inscriptions for the opening of the memorial hall. Wu Heng, member of the CPC Central Committee, and Liu Fusheng, chairman of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress, attended the commemorative meeting and cut the ribbon for the opening of the memorial hall.

Introduction to scenic spots

In October 2003, Xu Teli Memorial Hall moved from Hehuachi to Xingsha with Changsha normal school. In July 2010, Xu Teli memorial hall was approved by the Propaganda Department of Hunan provincial Party committee as the third batch of patriotic education bases in Hunan Province.

1. Preface: preface; bronze bust of Xu Teli; congratulatory letter from Mao Zedong to Xu Teli's 60th birthday; inscriptions from Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi, Zhu De and Ren Bishi to Xu Teli's 70th birthday;

2. "Old revolutionary hero, a sage today": more than 230 pictures show Xu Teli's glorious life;

3. "Education is contemporary, theory is ancient and modern": it concisely and concisely summarizes and introduces Xu Teli's broad and profound educational thought and its characteristics, as well as Xu Teli's position in the history of Chinese modern education;

4. "The article will last forever, and the teacher will enlighten later Kunlun": it includes three parts: "the scenery of mountains and the world will last forever", "the way of sages will be handed down from generation to generation", "the deeper you drill, the higher you look up". It summarizes and introduces the situation of people's commemoration, research and learning after Xu Teli's death; 5.
