Shizhong temple is an ancient temple in Shibaoshan. There is no research on the date when it was first built. At the back of the main hall, there was a huge Reclining Buddha in a yellow flowered robe, with a pearl crown on his head and red rosary beads on his chest. His face was black in red, his lips were slightly open, and his eyebrows were slightly frowned. It has the unique style of the Tibetan Plateau. There are also rock paintings and Buddha stone carvings handed down from the Tang and Song dynasties in the temple. Shizhong temple is an important witness of the history of Buddhism in Yunnan Province, and a unique treasure house for the study of Nanzhao Buddhism and Bai Tantrism.
