Guposhan Forest Park is 21 kilometers away from the urban area (Babu), with a total area of 8000 hectares. The park has high peaks and deep valleys, majestic mountains, lush forests, rich animals and plants, flying waterfalls and flowing streams, and elegant environment. About the park

Guposhan National Forest Park is located in the northeast of Guangxi, the southern end of mengzhuling mountain at the junction of Hunan, Guangxi and Guangdong provinces. It is only 26 kilometers away from the downtown (Babu) center. It is located in the middle station of Hong Kong Guangzhou Guilin golden tourist line, covering a total area of 8000 hectares, with peak height and valley

Deep, majestic mountains, lush forests, rich in animal and plant resources, waterfalls and streams, elegant environment and other characteristics, set "male, strange, beautiful, quiet" in one, with the characteristics of landscape and Suburban Park. According to the determination of authoritative scientific research institutions, the highest content of negative ions in Gupo mountain is 160000 per cubic meter. Therefore, Gupo mountain scenic spot is known as the largest natural forest oxygen bar in South China.

Gupo mountain is a kingdom of natural animals and plants with an area of 80 kilometers. There are 25 peaks with an altitude of more than 1000 meters. The highest peak is 1844 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in Eastern Guangxi. There are many ravines and streams all the year round. Due to the special topography and structure, there are many precipices in the territory, forming a unique scene that all the ditches are waterfalls and the waterfalls are unique. Among them, wayaochong puma waterfall, Xiangu waterfall, Luohan waterfall, Yinhe Jiutian waterfall, "2mm" waterfall, mother and son waterfall and Yuanyang waterfall are particularly famous. The forest coverage rate of Gupo mountain is as high as 85%, and there are many odd trees in the forest, including both tall and straight pillars and vigorous primitive trees. More than 1400 kinds of wild plants grow in the dense jungle, with more than 130 birds and animals. It is a good place for tourism, vacation and recuperation. Xiongfeng, Junling, Gushu, Laoteng, Qihua, Yicao, Qishi, waterfalls and so on, constitute a natural wonderful scenery. People can enjoy hunting in waterfalls, barbecue, camping, and living in bamboo villas built beside the streams and pools to enjoy the wonderful gifts of nature. The climate of Gupo mountain is pleasant and the seasons are like spring. The average annual temperature is 18.2 ℃, the relative humidity is above 80%, and it is warm in winter and cool in summer. The park is the largest natural oxygen bar area in South China with clean air and beautiful environment. The content of negative ions in the air is as high as 65856 per cubic centimeter.

Tea is the strong flavor of hometown, wine is the mellow flavor of hometown. Scenery is the beauty of hometown, and love is the truth of hometown. Gupo mountain in Hezhou not only has fresh and pleasant air, but also attracts many domestic and foreign tourists with its picturesque landscape and idyllic scenery. Rafting

Guposhan drifting is a newly developed Drifting Tourism Project in Eastern Guangxi.

Gupo mountain rafting is located in Gupo River in Gupo Mountain National Forest Park of Hezhou, 21 kilometers away from the urban area. The water source of Gupo river is one of the main peaks of Zhuling mountains. Tiantangding (1840 meters above sea level) and Gupo Ding (1730 meters above sea level). From the entrance of the park to the source, the whole section of the river is clear and clean. At present, the river section is more than 3000 meters long, with a difference of more than 100 meters. The drifting time is about 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The natural scenery of Guposhan National Forest Park is very beautiful. The surrounding trees are green and deep. There are many peaks, huge rocks and towering ancient trees on both sides of the river. There are fine sand and pebbles in the river. The river is clear and there are more than 10 thrilling places with a drop of 2-3 meters. Along the current, people and boats rushed straight into the pool, and the boat flew into the waves without danger. There are many beautiful pools in gupojiang River, most of which are 1 to 2 meters deep. Most of the drifting river sections are not far from the main tour line of the park, so it is very convenient to take the "tour bus in the park" offshore. There are rescue stations along the river, which can provide emergency rescue services at any time.

Historical legend

Built in Tang Dynasty and renovated in 2000, Guposhan fairy temple is a place for Hezhou religious people to carry out religious activities. After the construction, the Xiangu temple is more magnificent! The hundred steps in front of the temple's gate are magnificent; the crane fountain in front of the temple is designed to clean hands when entering the temple. Ha, it's the characteristic of Guposhan Xiangu temple to clean hands when entering the temple!

According to legend, in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasty, Zhangqi (plague) occurred in Hunan and Guangxi, which caused damage to one side. In Tiantang mountain, the southern end of Mengzhu mountain, at the border of Hunan, Guangxi and Guangdong provinces, Ganoderma lucidum, a magic medicine, can drive Zhangqi and cure the plague. With the support of his unmarried wife Miaohong, a man, a descendant of a family of traditional Chinese medicine, declined the dissuasion of his parents and villagers, and decided to collect Ganoderma lucidum in the hinterland of Tiantangshan cliff in Junling, xiongshan, where wolves and tigers are constantly changing. Day after day, there is no news from aman after entering the mountain. Her fiancee Miaohong is worried about her husband. Without telling her family, she goes to Tiantangshan to find her fiance aman with dry food on her back. Seven days and seven nights later, she could not find her fiance aman, but found a piece of Ganoderma lucidum. She collected Ganoderma lucidum and boiled it into soup with Chinese herbal medicine, so that patients could drink it and get rid of it. The villagers are very grateful to miss Miaohong.

All the villagers are saved, but Miaohong miss her fiance aman day and night. She goes to Tiantangshan all day to look for aman, and swears that she will never marry if she can't find him. Year after year, Miaohong is getting older and older. Local Hakkas call the older unmarried women aunts. Local people also call Miaohong aunts.

One day, when the villagers found that aunt Miaohong was missing, they sent people to Tiantangshan to look for her, but they never found her. One day, a local elder with high prestige got a dream: an immortal told her that the queen mother was moved by aunt Miaohong's touching act of collecting Ganoderma lucidum to save the common people and losing her fiance. She called her to heaven and canonized her as an immortal. Please don't look for aunt Miaohong any more. In memory of aunt Miaohong, the villagers decided to change the name of Tiantang mountain to Gupo mountain. Because heaven means heaven, the main peak of heaven mountain (the first peak in Guidong area) is still called heaven top. Therefore, Gupo mountain got its name in Hunan, Guangxi and Guangdong provinces.

In memory of aunt Miaohong, a fairy temple was built in Shanzhu of Tiantangshan (Guposhan) at the junction of Jianghua, Hunan Province and Hezhou, Guangxi Province during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. It was for worshiping and praying for the fairy's blessing. For the convenience of worshiping, the later generations moved the temple to the east side of Xiangu lawn.

Main attractions

Gupo mountain scenic spots are mainly divided into eight scenic spots, namely: wayaochong scenic area, lover forest scenic area, primeval forest exploration area, Yinhe Jiutian scenic area, "two millimeter" half scenic area, Xiangu lawn activity area, Xiangu scenic area, and Gupo mountain peak sightseeing area.

Lover Forest Scenic Area

Not far from the wa Yao Chong waterfall, there is a lover lake with an area of 300 square meters. In the lover lake, there grows a perennial lush forest with mountains and rivers. The trees in the forest are in pairs, or attached, or climbing and winding, just like a pair of lovers in love. This is the only and unique scenic spot in the park, which is called "lover forest".

Xiangu waterfall

Although there are more than ten waterfalls in Gupo mountain, the most spectacular, natural and beautiful one is Xiangu waterfall. Xiangu waterfall is about 30 meters high. The water quality is clean and cool. It can be drunk directly, making people feel sweet. From a distance, you can see a "white dragon" flying out of the dense forest. It's silvery. First you stretch your head down the cliff for 40 meters, then you carefully lower it for more than 40 meters, and then you run down the mountain. The fall of the waterfall is more than 80 meters and the width is 5 meters. It is divided into upper and lower sections. It is light and ends like smoke and fog. On both sides of the canyon, there are towering ancient trees. Luoteng hanging on the cliffs is lush, and the grotesque trees dot the cliffs and cliffs, forming a beautiful landscape picture with the waterfalls and streams.

Jiupuxiang distillery

Jiupuxiang distillery used to be a handmade distillery of a century old brand. Later it became an open space. Because of the shooting of the play "wine is the alcohol of hometown", jiupuxiang distillery was built artificially. Together with the later tea garden, jiupuxiang distillery became a new tourist attraction in Hezhou. Here, visitors can try the props of the play, such as water wheel, rice washing pool and wine bucket, to feel the purity and simplicity of JIUPU incense. Scenery of the top of the mountain

Watching the sunrise, sunset, sea of clouds and high mountain red azaleas, azaleas bloom all over the mountain red in April and may every year. Recommended route

Soon after entering the main entrance of the park along the highway, you can see the first waterfall, wayaochong waterfall. After walking through the lover forest (including lover Lake), you come to the big lawn parking lot. This is the dividing point. To the right, there is a location - distillery, where you can taste my aunt's wine for free. After passing the distillery, you can walk along the mountain road on the right side of yixiantian scenic spot (the mountain road on the left leads to Hunan). After 40 minutes of stone steps, you can see the "Galaxy falling nine days" waterfall. Back to the big lawn parking lot, walk 2 km to the left, you can see Gupo waterfall, and there is an undeveloped path leading to the main peak of Gupo mountain at the end of the road
