Black Ghost cave
Located in the southwest of Ryukyu Island, Wugui cave is the most famous tourist attraction on the island. Coral reefs and rocks are all over the place, forming a winding labyrinth. There are 100 year old banyan trees on the reefs and rocks at the entrance. The roots are intertwined and the rocks are hanging out of the air. All the year round, the trees are full of shade, forming a unique landscape, which is amazing.
It is said that in the 15th year of Yongli period of Ming Dynasty, Zheng Chenggong recovered taipeng and drove away the Dutch. A few slaves were abandoned here. Later, the slaves used to sneak into the sea at night, dig holes in the boats moored on the island with darts, sink them, and then carry their utensils and food. After investigation, it was found that the firewood was piled up outside the cave in the dark and ignited. The Black Ghost fan died in the cave. It is said that in the Qing Dynasty, the stone tables, chairs and beds in the cave were still intact, and jewelry was also found. But today, the cave has collapsed and can't be entered. It is said that this cave can reach the airport, three or four kilometers long.
