Development history

Pingyuan county has built Nantai Mountain Forest Park Based on Nantai mountain, with a planning area of 2073.2 hectares, including the reclining Buddha Scenic Spot in Nantai mountain, shilongzhai Buddha watching scenic spot and Chengmin memorial park scenic spot.

In August 2007, it was approved by the forestry bureau of Guangdong Province to be named Guangdong Nantai Mountain Forest Park, becoming a provincial forest park.

On December 25, 2009, according to "Linchang xuzhun No. 1064", it was approved to establish Nantai Mountain National Forest Park, named "Guangdong Nantai Mountain National Forest Park".
