brief introduction
It was founded by the father of Zhang Yudao in the Xuantong period of Qing Dynasty (1909-1911). Sitting in the West and facing the East, there are 48 rooms, with a construction area of 1115.3 square meters and an area of 865 square meters. The front and back of the building are integrated into four buildings. The first entrance is the storefront. There are three original two-story buildings and two bungalows, two of which were demolished in 1985. It was used by Zhang family to set up Zhang Xinchang silk cloth shop until liberation. Into the store into the instrument door and two doors. On the gate, the words "Jingluo pass hook, Qujiang feed pigeon" are intact and clear. The gray tile roof of Xieshan in Yimen is exquisitely carved. The railings of the corridor on the upper floor were cast iron railings, which were removed during the great leap forward and replaced with wooden railings. The floor of the hall is paved with mosaic, the plaster line is inlaid with flat top, and the floor is imported Douglas fir tongue and groove floor. The hall is 7 meters deep. The third entrance is the guest hall, the second room and the second room on the second floor. The upper and lower rooms are connected with the main hall of Qiandai. The roof of Houdai is made of hard mountain grey tiles, connected by dragon waist, with a depth of 7 meters and glass doors and windows. Finally, it is a bungalow with a hard hill and a gray tile roof, with a wing room on each side and a ma'anshui bridge behind.
status
Originally, the house was connected with the West Zhang's garden of Shihe (Xingang River) by a bridge. After liberation, Hexi garden was abandoned, leaving only a number of houses in the garden, which are now under public management to accommodate residents. After liberation, the house was used as office space for the Party committee, government, local police station, tax office of Xinchang Town. Now it is changed into residential housing. At the end of 2001, it declared to the district government and was listed as a cultural relic protection unit at the district level.
