Evolution of organizational system
In October 1950, the eighth District of Tengchong County was set up (governing Guyong and Zhonghe, and the district office was set up in guojiaying of Zhonghe). Guyong was from the sixth village to the tenth village.
In December 1952, villages were transformed into townships. There were seven townships in Guyong.
At the end of 1955, the township level administrative districts were adjusted and Guyong was reduced to five townships.

In October 1950, Guyong set up five villages: Qingkou (sixth tree), Shangjie (seventh Village), Dongcun (eighth Village), Danzha (ninth Village) and heinitang (Tenth Village).
In December 1953, Guyong was transformed into seven townships: Tianxin, Qingkou, Jinjiazhai, Dongjiacun, xiaxiaojie, heinitang and Danzha.

In August 1994, Bengma village was changed into Yongxing village.
