History of power station
In the ancient Hengduan Mountains, there are three big rivers running in parallel. The two big rivers in the West flow southward. Only the one in the East stubbornly turns a 270 degree bend, and all the way eastward, crosses the land of China for 6300 kilometers, and finally joins the East China Sea. This big river is the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, the Jinsha River.
Jinsha River originates from the northern foot of Tanggula Mountain in Qinghai Province. It flows through the Qinghai Tibet Plateau, Hengduan Mountain longitudinal valley and Yunnan Guizhou Plateau. To the south of 30 ° N and below Batang, Jinsha River enters Hengduan Mountain fold belt. The basin is a long and narrow north-south belt. The river passes through the high mountains and narrow valleys with large gradient, deep undercutting and rapid flow. About 40 km later, Jinsha river suddenly turns north from shigu,
