China Lighthouse Museum

Located in Zhuyu New District, Daishan County, China Lighthouse Museum is the first lighthouse themed tourist attraction in China so far. Visitors can learn about the history of lighthouses and read anecdotes about famous lighthouses.

Development history

Combined with the construction of the new area, the scenic area is based on the world-famous ancient lighthouses, and its architectural style is loyal to the original work. The first phase of the open library area has been built to imitate and gather seven lighthouses from different places, including amde lighthouse in France, perlwam lighthouse in Germany, kraft lighthouse in Canada, Corvettes lighthouse in Norway, Robben lighthouse in South Africa, cronier lighthouse in Uruguay and Portland lighthouse in the United States Famous Lighthouses of the same country and different architectural styles. It also has a 600 square meter exhibition hall, displaying nearly 300 objects.

"World lighthouse history and culture and Chinese lighthouse development history exhibition" the whole building is modeled after the famous Portland lighthouse in the United States, with a ratio of 1:1. The museum is a two-story building with exhibition hall on the first floor. Combined with pictures and objects, the exhibition vividly introduces the history and culture of world lighthouses and the development history of Chinese lighthouses.

Collection

Kerosene lamp was made in England in 1899. It is well preserved and belongs to the early navigation light. Huaniaoshan lighthouse, one of the Lighthouses of world historical relics, was once used.

The generator was manufactured by Marconi Company in 1929. It is well preserved and used in Huaniaoshan lighthouse.

Wuzhong in 880 A.D., when a monk passed by tuxihezui, the head of Daishan County, Zhoushan City, he found that ships often touched Wanghu reef and sank outside xihezui. Therefore, he stayed here and knocked on the bronze bell every foggy day to warn passing ships.

The simulation navigation is controlled by advanced computer technology, which is projected by three projectors to form a three-dimensional large screen, so that the audience can experience the navigation personally. The route selection, weather change and wind wave size can be set freely, with a strong sense of reality, so that people can have a sense of experience, and can really enjoy the fun of sailing.
