The origin of the name

Qiulongtan and Lianquan

It is said that in ancient times, there was no water and no grass in this valley. One day, Yinglong, Qiulong and Fulong went out to sea and traveled here. They saw that the grotesque rocks were jagged and there was no life. The three dragons thought that the valley was so desolate, how could life multiply? So we went to the North platform (pointing to you) to ask God what to do? The emperor Yuhuang said, "the hot days here are like fire, and the cold days are like ice. If there is water, there will be lush vegetation and swarms of insects and fish. It's easy for you to move the river and the sea when you wait for the Dragon son and the Dragon grandson. It's time to do something great for the mortals. The three dragons stepped down to ask the rooftop, discussed for a moment, and decided to go to the South China Sea to get water. Yinglong can fly and fly; Fulong can swim and dive into DIHE river. Only Qiulong can walk on the ground with his horns. After walking for a long time, Qiu long felt that it was time to go to the South China Sea, so he got out of the ground and looked up. Just after crossing the Yangtze River, Qiu long was tired and tired. He didn't want to walk any more. There happened to be a river nearby, called Lianxi. So the three dragons took water from Lianxi and brought it back to the valley, so this spring was called Lianquan. From then on, Lianquan Xianggu got its name.

Where is the water after it is taken back? Yinglong and Fulong are in a dilemma. Qiu long uses his horns to open a gap between the two mountains. He puts the stream at the gap, and the water immediately flows down from the gap, forming the waterfall of today. This is what we call Lianquan waterfall.

In addition, the three dragons put the water well, and the vegetation, insects and birds in the valley immediately blow like the wind, all over the mountain and valley. When the three dragons see this green mountain and valley, they forget to return. I want to cultivate myself in the valley, but where can I live? Qiu long had an idea and said: I'll use my horns to open a pool for each of us, and then open a cave for each of us to have a rest. Ying Long and Fu Long nodded yes. Qiulong opened three pools, namely Yinglong, Qiulong and Fulong pools, and then opened caves. After Qiulong opened the Tiangong cave and the Ziyun Cave, which he lived in. He doesn't want to drill any more. He thinks that there are some holes in the landscape, but what if Yinglong doesn't have a hole? Qiu long hesitated. After listening to Qiu Long's idea, Ying Long said, "I have wings and can fly. Let me choose a place on the cliff. "So, Ying Long chose the cliff nest as his place to live. In fact, the "cliff eagle nest" originally lived in Yinglong rather than eagle. Because Yinglong can fly, people mistakenly think it is an eagle, so this place is called "cliff eagle nest".

Yinglongtan Ziyun Cave

It is said that one day, a long time ago, the Dragon King of the South China Sea took his wife to visit Beishan. When he came to Lianquan Xianggu, the Dragon suddenly disappeared. The Dragon King was very anxious. He didn't see the dragon in the valley until it was dark, so he had to go back. After that, the Dragon King came to look for it many times, but failed to find it. It turned out that when the Dragon traveled around, he saw the sound of Lian Quan, the clear valley water, the strange rocks, the rhyme of the spring, the big trees and the long heart. He wanted to live here, but he was afraid that the Dragon King would not let him, so he hid in the cave on the mountain. When the Dragon King left, he went out of the cave and lived in the pool at the foot of the mountain. Later, people often see a handsome young man enjoying the scenery in the valley, and also find that the debris accumulated in the water during the day has been cleaned up at night. It is said that the handsome boy is the embodiment of the dragon, and the debris in the water is cleaned by the dragon. Therefore, it is called fulongtan. The stone cave on the north mountain where the dragon was hiding was called Fulong cave. Because purple clouds often gush in the cave, it is also called purple cloud cave.

Shenma farm

According to folklore, in ancient times, there was a magic horse in Xianggu of Lianquan. This horse came from afar, carrying a river map and offering a treasure map to Fu Xi. Later, because of the quiet environment, lush vegetation and sweet spring, he lived here. When people graze near the valley, they often find that there is one more horse in the herd. But when I go home at night, it's not too much. So people know that there is a magic horse in the valley. This magic horse can change its hair with the season to make it green in spring, green in summer, yellow in autumn and white in winter. I come here every evening to drink, rest and roll. It is said that this smooth stone was polished when the horse rolled over. Later, the Jade Emperor took away the horse, leaving only the horse farm.

Ancient charcoal kiln

According to the legend of the ancient charcoal kiln, since there was water, green mountains, green valleys and lush vegetation. Guiguzi fell in love with this place, so he took his disciples Pang Juan and Sun Bin to practice martial arts here. On this day, Guiguzi wanted to see how the two apprentices were doing, and said, "you two go to find some firewood and come back, and remember: 'firewood should be dry, dry and smoke-free. "Pang Juan picked up the straw stick because it had little smoke. He carried it back to his master. GUI GuZi looked at it and said," no, the straw stick has smoke. 'dig till the sun sets. Again, the owl called, "install the kiln, install the kiln. "At this point, Sun Bin understood that he had to dig, install and burn his own kilns. As soon as Sun Bin lit the fire, he heard the magpie on his head "ha, ha" straight smile, and cried: "yes, yes --" a few days later, Sun Bin came to see the master with charcoal on his back. GUI GuZi said: "although charcoal is wet, it is smokeless."
