Deng FA's former residence is located in Shitang village in the west of Yuncheng Street office, Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, 50 meters to the east of the village, beside the highway, with the memorial archway of "former residence of Deng FA martyr". The former residence was built in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. It is a courtyard layout with two entrances, sitting north to south, with mud brick and wood structure, covering an area of 127.8 square meters. In 1979, it was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit. At the same time, the memorial hall for revolutionary martyrs has been built with government funding. There is an exhibition hall to show the life story and relics of martyr Deng FA. It has been listed as a patriotic education base for people to visit. "Dengfa Memorial Primary School" and "dengfa Memorial Middle School" have been built near his former residence.

Brief introduction to Deng fa

Deng fa (March 7, 1906 - April 8, 1946) was born in Shitang village, Fucheng District, Yunfu City. At the age of 15, he went to Guangzhou, Hong Kong and other places to make a living with his fifth brother Deng Fang. In 1925, he took part in leading the general strike between Guangdong and Hong Kong and was elected as the representative of workers. He joined the Communist Party of China in the summer of 1926 and served as the leader of the Northern Expedition youth team of the Guangdong provincial Party Department of the National Development Party. He assisted Chen Yannian, Deng Zhongxia and Su Zhaozheng in organizing propaganda teams, transportation teams and rescue teams, and went to the Central Plains with the northern expedition. After the failure of the Guangzhou Uprising, he went to Hong Kong to work underground. After a long period of revolutionary struggle, Deng FA has become one of the leaders of the Chinese labor movement. In the summer of 1931, Deng FA was appointed member of the Central Bureau, member of the central workers' and peasants' democratic government, director of the National Security Bureau of the Soviet Republic of China, and participated in the world-renowned 25000 mile long march. After the Long March, he served as Minister of grain in Northern Shaanxi. In 1937, when the Anti Japanese war broke out, he was the director of Xinjiang Office of the Eighth Route Army. Longwan Ecotourism Zone
