Huayuan street is one of the 14 priority towns in Chengdu. It is 20km away from the urban area of Chengdu, 10km away from the center of Xinjin district and 10km away from the Southwest Airport. The town covers an area of 32.06 square kilometers and has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages and 1 community with a population of 38404 (2017). The urban planning area is 12 square kilometers.
