Summary:

About the author:

Franny Billingsley was a professional lawyer. After five years as a lawyer, she resigned because she was tired of the job. She took her favorite children's books to Barcelona, Spain, in order to find a new direction. But when she re read those fairy tales, she found that children's books were her favorite, so she devoted herself to children's book writing with great enthusiasm. Xu Yuan Jing is her first children's book published in the spring of 1997, and her second book is the one who keeps people. Both books are fantasy novels. She said that she likes to write fantasy novels because fantasy novels provide an alternative way of thinking, transcend the real world, and enable her to explore the themes of friendship, confusion and growth.
