Jiuqu Stream

Jiuqu stream is a stream at the south foot of Huanggang mountain, the main peak of Wuyi Mountains. It is located in the valley of Wuyi Mountain in Fujian Province. Because there are three bends and nine bends, it is named Jiuqu River.

Jiuqu Stream

There is a famous Ziyang Academy under Yinping peak, which is the lecture Office of Zhu Xi, a neo Confucianist in the Southern Song Dynasty. It's also the best place to watch the sea of clouds and sunrise. Under cangping peak on the North Bank of Liuqu, there is a "squirrel stream" with fast water flow. The Taoyuan cave, a beautiful place of Wuyi cave, can be reached 500 meters up the stream. Chen Shitang and Wu Zhengli lived in seclusion in Song Dynasty. Since the opening of ChongTong highway, the ancient people who visited Jiuqu River went upstream from Wuyi palace. In front of the Wuyi palace, Qingchuan area is a song, and from then on it goes up against the current to Xingcun town under Qiyun peak, which is a Jiuqu.
