DIDU village is located in Nanyu Town, Jingxing County, Hebei Province. It is 10km away from Tianchang Town, the national historical and cultural town, 60km away from Shijiazhuang, the provincial capital, and connected with Niangziguan, the Ninth National Historical and cultural town in the West. It has a village area of 8600 mu, 490 households, 1800 people, and 1600 mu of arable land. In 2013, the per capita net income was 9800 yuan. historical origin
DIDU village began around 20 BC. The name of the village originated from emperor Liu Xiu of the Han Dynasty who crossed the river here and got the name "DIDU". Later, it gradually evolved into DIDU. The famous ancient post road of the Qin emperor passed through the Jinyang street in the village. The great wall of Chungshan Kingdom still exists in the south of the village, Rebuilt in the 21st year of Jiajing reign of Ming Dynasty (1542), it connects Niangziguan in the East and Guguan in the west, with a length of nearly 1 km. It is an important throat barrier part of the ninth pass (Niangziguan) of the Great Wall.
