Heilongjiang has two sources, the south source is Erguna River, which is formed by the confluence of Hailar River and krulun river. Hailar River originates from the west of Great Xing'an Mountains in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, and krulun river originates from the east slope of Kent mountains in Mongolia. The North source is the shileka River in Russia, and its upstream is called the Nen River, which originates from the east side of the Kent mountains in Mongolia. The two sources, North and south, are called Heilongjiang after the confluence of Luogu River, west of Mohe River in Heilongjiang Province, China. Along the way, they receive Jieya River, buleya River, amugong River on the left bank, Huma River, Xun River, Songhua River, Wusuli River and other tributaries on the right bank.
