Shanghai Film Museum
Shanghai Film Museum, located in Xuhui District of Shanghai, is the original site of Shanghai Film Studio. It is divided into four floors and closed on Monday. With an investment of 900 million yuan and a total construction area of over 100000 square meters, it is the largest film museum in China.
In May, the Shanghai Film Festival officially opened in mid June. It used to be the compound of Shanghai Film Studio, which is a cultural relic. The yellow building on the left originally belonged to the holy clothes hall and the Catholic nuns' dojo. It was built in 1874. On October 11, 2018, he was selected into the list of "national primary and secondary students' research and practice education base".

Development history
In the 595 construction site of Shanghai Film Studio, the Shanghai Film Group building was built as a witness of Shanghai film, and a Shanghai Film Museum was also built. It was purchased by Lianhua Company in September, 2003 and rebuilt into the third factory. At that time, the house number was 3 triangle street. After the war, Kunlun company and Haiyan studio were all here in 57 years. The original building of the holy clothes courtyard was in disrepair for a long time, and this time it was rebuilt. The multi-function hall on the right side of the museum is the original studio No. 5 of Shanghai Film Studio.

First floor - hall of honor
Shanghai is the birthplace of Chinese movies, half of them, and the root of Chinese movies. In the hundred year history of Chinese film development, Shanghai film has created brilliant cultural achievements. This exhibition hall shows the outstanding contributions made by Shanghai films to China's social development and historical progress from different aspects, such as "Centennial glory", "moment of glory", "birth of national anthem", "brilliant golden cup" and "number one in film history".
Second floor - Film Studio
As a unique cultural form, film is born with dreamlike characteristics. This exhibition area reveals the magic mystery of film production and creation, and opens a window of technology to create dreams. Visitors can observe the production process of film and television works and feel the moving artistic charm of the film as a dream workshop.
The third floor
At the end of the 19th century, film was introduced into Shanghai as a new technological invention. From the 10th to the 40th of the 20th century, film took root and blossomed in this modern city in the Far East, and became a promoter and disseminator of Chinese culture. This exhibition hall will introduce the achievements of Shanghai film to visitors from six different aspects: tracing the origin of Shanghai film, dream factory, light and shadow River, eye opening, classic translation and animation gallery.
Fourth floor: light and shadow memory
The theme is filmmaker, film scene and film screening, which is composed of five parts: "Avenue of stars", "star shining in the sky", "master demeanor", "Nanjing Road under mercury lamp" and "Centennial release and screening". On the "Avenue of stars", flashing lights and cheers come one after another, allowing visitors to experience the glory of red carpet stars; the exhibition areas of "stars shining in the sky" and "master demeanor" show the life stories, cultural relics, documents, work and life scenes of film masters and outstanding filmmakers; the "Nanjing Road under mercury lamp" allows visitors to share the shooting scenes of Shanghai classic films; and the exhibition area of "100 year release and projection" Through models, advertisements and more than 100 posters of different historical periods, we can review the 100 year history of the release and screening of Shanghai films, and show the cultural charm of Shanghai films.
