Dagong well, known as the world's first ancient brine well.

According to historical records, it was first excavated in the Han Dynasty. In the Northern Zhou Dynasty, Gongjing town was built because of the well. In the Tang Dynasty, Gongjing county was established. In the Ming Dynasty, it was transferred to Gongjing. In 1939, Gongjing and Ziliujing built Zigong City together. It is located at the Bank of Laojie river at the foot of Gongjing Tianchi mountain, which is an important area of well salt production in the past dynasties. Up to now, rich well salt culture is still accumulated here, which is of great development value and has been identified as a key tourism development project by the municipal government.

The project consists of three areas: laojiehejie ancient salt culture protection area; tianchishan ecological and Buddhist culture tourism area; Bali Qinhuai culture leisure and entertainment area. Focus on highlighting the seven "trumps" in the city waterfall group, Laojie salt culture group, dagongjing relics group, jinliujing salt bath group, tianchishan ecological Buddhism culture group, dongyuanjing leisure group and Bali Qinhuai group.

Dagongjing ancient salt culture tourist area is located in a superior position, with North Ring Road in the north, Gongjing city center in the East and South Ring Road in the West. To the north, you can go to Neiyi Road, and to the west, you can reach Rongxian County, which naturally connects with the golden tourist route in southern Sichuan.

Dagongjing ancient salt culture tourism area is a key tourism development project in Zigong City, which is now attracting investment from the society.
