Mengtun River Valley

Mengtun river valley scenic spot is located in shangmeng Township and Xiameng Township in the northwest of Li County, Aba Prefecture, covering an area of 714.5 square kilometers. In addition to mengtun castle, the main scenic spots are concentrated in shangmeng area.

Mengtun River Valley

Muchanggou, the place where King Gesar abandoned his soup

It is said that King Gesar arrived at the edge of the land acquisition and seized a small amount of rice. He ordered the Imperial Cabinet to cook soup. Because he had eaten it for the first time, he didn't know how to eat it. He picked up rice by hand and discarded it in the lake beside the camp. The next day, he saw the water of the lake turning white. Lin suspected that it was caused by the mixture of rice and soup. So he named this lake rice soup Haizi, which has been handed down to the present day.

Gaoqiaogou, the cradle of holy mountain

Mount hilquito is located at the end of Gaoqiao valley. The water of Gaoqiao flows out from Haizi at the foot of the mountain and flows through more than 20 kilometers. It flows into mengtun river at guatuozhai, 8 kilometers away from the seat of shangmeng township government. There are many waterfalls and beautiful scenery along the way.
