Introduction to the exhibition hall

Modern acousto-optic technologies such as dynamic step bar, multi-channel projection, 4D dynamic multi-media hall and 360 degree ring screen cinema are integrated into a number of exhibition links. It is a comprehensive planning Museum integrating planning and exhibition, science popularization education, characteristic tourism, business leisure, file inquiry and other functions.

Hangzhou urban planning exhibition hall is not only an important window to display the image of Hangzhou City, but also a platform for academic exchanges between experts and scholars at home and abroad, and a corridor for citizens to participate in urban planning.

Construction process

Hangzhou urban planning exhibition hall was set up on March 2, 2007 (Hangzhou Development and reform investment No. 168). It is a key construction project of Hangzhou municipal government. In the process of preparation, the municipal leaders Wang Guoping, Cai Qi and other four sets of municipal leaders listened to the preparation work report for many times, visited the site for investigation and guidance, and helped to solve the practical problems of the project. In order to build the exhibition hall into a "world-class, domestic leading" comprehensive exhibition hall, a two-level Preparatory Leading Group has been set up, with Vice Mayor Yang xubiao and director Yang Zuojun of the Planning Bureau as the leading group leaders.

In March 2007, six people were selected from the planning bureau system to set up a preparatory working group and sent to work on site. In July of the same year, the municipal editorial office approved the establishment of the daily management organization of Hangzhou urban planning exhibition hall.

In November 2007, after the design scheme for the overall interior decoration and exhibition arrangement of the exhibition hall was finalized, the preparation work entered the stage of substantial decoration and exhibition arrangement. In order to save financial funds, the preparation working group insisted on choosing the best company, using the best materials, buying the best equipment and building the best project with the least money. The whole project has organized nearly 40 bidding sections. Since the beginning of 2008, more than 30 companies of different specialties have participated in the construction of the exhibition hall.

Exhibition hall introduction

First floor

This hall is the most comprehensive floor in the museum. Visitors enter the exhibition hall from the main entrance on the west side, and are guided into the exhibition areas and functional areas on both sides by the sunshine corridor in the middle of the exhibition hall. The exhibition area is mainly divided into "City profile" exhibition area, publicity area and temporary exhibition area. The front office, inquiry area, children's activity area, planning experience area and city book bar are set up in the service function.

Second floor

Through three chapters of "city memory", "famous city protection" and "landscape city", the hall gives visitors a three-dimensional experience of the development process of Hangzhou city. From ancient times to the present, this paper comprehensively introduces the formation of Hangzhou city and the general changes in the protection of the old city and the construction of a new city. The hall also has a miniature model of the imperial city of the Southern Song Dynasty, so that visitors can have a comprehensive understanding of the imperial city of the Southern Song Dynasty at that time, the history of the imperial city and the current location of the city. 4D dynamic cinema, through three-dimensional animation real scene simulation projection system, combined with interactive model ship, wind, rain, lightning and other devices to show three-dimensional effect, realizes the West Lake boating, Xixi stroll, Qianjiang tide virtual roaming.

This hall shows the grand blueprint of Hangzhou's urban development. There are public facilities (culture, education, health, sports) planning exhibition areas in the hall, which are displayed to tourists through interactive touch screen, multimedia digital model and other display means. The residential planning exhibition area displays all kinds of residential planning and construction through electronic display board and interactive touch screen, and provides planning information inquiry. The comprehensive transportation planning exhibition area displays the planning of external transportation, urban transportation and transportation facilities through electronic display boards, interactive touch screens and wall models, covering aviation, expressway, railway, subway, land and water, urban roads, pedestrian transportation, non motor vehicle transportation and various kinds of transportation facilities. The overall planning exhibition area, through the large-scale city model, uses the modern technology of sound, light and electricity to create a dramatic effect, and shows the grand blueprint of Hangzhou's future development to visitors.
