Kowloon Lake Park
Jiulonghu park is located at the intersection of Zhongshan North Road and 2nd Ring North Road in Gulou District of Xuzhou City. It is a part of the construction of Xuzhou Gulou ecological park. The total investment of the park is 42 million yuan. Since 2005, it took six months for Gulou District to transform the original inner port. The total area of the park is 162400 square meters, including 66000 square meters of water It covers an area of 64000 square meters.
The green coverage rate of Jiulong Lake Park (including water surface) reaches 80%. It is a modern open park integrating urban landscape square, public leisure and cultural entertainment. The whole garden road runs through, flowers and trees cover the green, more than 1800 meters of footpath are laid, 35000 square meters of lawn are planted, and more than 90 kinds of precious trees and shrubs such as Cinnamomum camphora, Ginkgo biloba, osmanthus, cherry, crape myrtle, red maple are scientifically allocated.
Jiulonghu park is the first park in the North District of Xuzhou City, and it is an open park. Its completion has ended the history that there is no large park in the North District, optimized the investment environment of Gulou, improved the living environment, and improved the urban quality. It has become an important public place for fitness, leisure, sightseeing and entertainment of the citizens in the North District, and a landmark project for the external image display of Gulou District.
