In 1866, the Yungui guild hall was built on the foundation of xipailoukou Yaowang hall. In 1906, Hu Mei, a physician of American Yali Association, founded Yali hospital, which was the predecessor of Xiangya Hospital. In 1943, No. 25 of xipailou was built with Hunan production yard.

Besides the West archway, there is a wooden archway, which is located on the west side of Taiping Street and is also the name of the street. In the Qing Dynasty, the wooden house was built with the name of Fulin street. East and West wooden archways, plus red archway and Zoumalou, were used to make a couplet with the street name with the word "Zheng", which is quite interesting. Lianyun: the East archway, the West archway, the East and West mahogany archways, with horse walking at the top of the building; Nanzheng street, Beizheng street, Fuzheng street, Xianzheng street, and Duzheng street of Nanbei County, with dragon climbing on the street.
