History of ancient town

Historical records: in the Zhou and Qin Dynasties, Tucheng was the Learning Department of Nanyi. In the sixth year of Yuanding reign of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty (111 BC), Pingyi County was set up, which has jurisdiction over Xishui and Chishui. In the Wei and Jin Dynasties, Pingyi County was established, and in the Tang Dynasty, zhezhou was established. In the third year of Daguan (1109) of the Northern Song Dynasty, Zizhou was set up and led by Chengliu and Renhuai counties. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, when the residents rebuilt the street houses, they found a large number of wall foundations built with soil, which gave the city its name.
