history
It is said that Wenfeng mountain was first called Dongshan. During the Xianfeng Period of the Qing Dynasty, Li Antao, a descendant of the Li family in the village, became the highest cultural person in the village by studying hard in the cold window and passing the exam. Li Juren had a lot of feelings about climbing the mountain to worship his ancestors, so he called this mountain Wenfeng. In order to show their love and high hopes for their hometown, they have raised money to build Wenchang Pavilion on the high mountain. The statue in the pavilion reproduces the elegant demeanour of Wenzu, the emperor of Wenchang.
According to textual research, Wenchang is the name of Chinese astronomical constellation, especially the fourth star of the six stars in Wenchang palace. In the old days, it was said that Wenchang was specially responsible for Wenyun, so it was called Wenqu star. According to the records of Shi Cheng, Zhang Yazi of Jin Dynasty lived in Qiqu mountain of Bashu. He had literary talent and died in the battlefield. Later generations established temples and worshipped him as a sage. In the Yuan Dynasty, it was called Wenchang emperor, which was called Zitong emperor by Taoism. It was the God of examination and literary movement. In the old days, schools, guilds and bookstores all over the world had ancestral temples, which could be regarded as a kind of traditional culture of God and man.
In the past, Wenchang Pavilion was located on the top of the peak, overlooking the mountains and rivers. It echoed Kuixing tower in the East and south corner of Zichuan City, and looked across the village from jiangjuntou in the west of Shanxia village. The stars are changing, the years are flying, and Wenfeng mountain is full of literary fortune, and new people are coming out. Some scholars and professors first gave lectures in Beijing and Shanghai, and wrote books about Chinese civilization. Some of the younger generation went abroad to study for a doctor.
Wenchang Pavilion was destroyed at the beginning of the cultural revolution and rebuilt in 1997. Wenfeng mountain park has dense trees and green flowers. With Wenfeng lake at the top of the mountain as the center, corridors, pavilions, buildings and pavilions are built around the park to form a dynamic and continuous garden landscape with master and follower.
