Located at 650 Park Road, Chengxiang Town, Qingpu, Shanghai, it was first built in Qing Dynasty Qianlong ten years (1745), at that time it was Town God's Temple's Ling Yuan. It is said that in order to build the garden, every resident in the city was asked for a penny, so it is called "Yiwen garden". In the third year of Jiaqing (1798), the garden was renamed "Qushui" garden, because it was beside dayingpu, which means "Qushui Liuqi" of the ancients. Over the past two hundred years, it has been revived and abolished several times.
Qushui garden is facing south, covering an area of 30 mu (1.82 HA), of which water accounts for 15%. The buildings in the garden are made of green tiles, white walls and green bricks, and the plants in the garden are mainly bamboo. It is famous for its small size, elegance and simplicity. There are four scenic spots with their own characteristics: the west garden is mainly built with beautiful buildings and quiet courtyards; the middle garden is famous for its landscape, mountains and clear water; the east garden is famous for its wild taste, broad land and luxuriant flowers and trees; the calligraphy art garden is famous for its ancient elegance, with stone drums and stone inscriptions.

In the southwest of the pool, there is a "Yongcui Pavilion" and in the west, there is a "Xiyu bridge", which forms horns with three waterside pavilions, such as "xiaohaoliang". On the rockery built at the beginning of the people's Republic of China, there are green maple and ancient cypress, which block out the sun and cover the sky. There are also "flying rainbow drunk moon", "Dafo Valley" and "Laoren peak" on the mountain. At the top of the mountain, there is a pavilion with nine peaks at a glance, four stories high. In the past, when you boarded the platform, you could overlook Sheshan, Tianma mountain, Fenghuang mountain, Xiaokun mountain and other "nine peaks of Songjun". The "youjuetang" in the garden is one of the only two beamless halls in the city. It has a high artistic value of Jiangnan garden architecture and has a unique style.
