The top of the bottom is located at the junction of Yingde, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, and Qujiang District, Shaoguan City. The main peak, 1586 meters above sea level, is the highest peak at the junction of the two cities. To the west of the top of the bottom of the boat is Ruyuan Grand Canyon. The mountain is high and the valley is deep, the terrain is dangerous, and the mountain peaks are undulating. In the area of gaozhangding, you can often see clouds and fog. Shimentai is a provincial nature reserve with very clear valleys and good natural landscape. From Dabu to chuanditing, pingkeng to Shimentai, it covers almost all kinds of mountain landforms, such as jungle, grass slope, gravel slope, Stonehenge, valley and so on. A number of lines have been explored in the area of the bottom and top of the boat, but the traditional lines are more suitable for outdoor experience and physical fitness

Climbing the boat bottom and top, along the way are towering mountains, you can enjoy the landscape of northern Guangdong. In the gorge, the mountains on both sides are mostly bare fracture layers. The barrier lake in the distance, under the refraction of the sun, is shining with silver light. The green bamboo on the slope is reflected on the winding tractor road. The morning light penetrates from the gap of the gorge, the red glow shines on the top of the mountain, and the layers of peaks are stacked in the magnificent glow. After a few hours of walking, you can reach the place where you can replenish water. Broad mountain stream, clear water, round black stone is washed smooth and mellow by running water

Grassland

After the rest of the bamboo forest at the foot of gaozhangding mountain, we will cross the bamboo forest. It's more than 700 meters above sea level, and it will rise to the top of 1300 meters. There is no road in the bamboo forest, and the bamboo branches are luxuriant. It's hard to pass through the heavy and broad backpack, so you need to bend down and crawl. Walking out of the intricate bamboo forest and looking around, you can see the boundless grass slope. The slope is about 70 to 80 degrees. This is the legendary big grass slope. Grass slope, yellow meadow endless, beautiful and spectacular, open grass ears in the wind floating. Under the sun, the grass is shining silver, like a golden silk, noble and elegant. It takes a lot of courage and care to cross such a steep grassy slope. The withered grass on the road is very slippery. If you don't pay attention, it will roll into the bottom of the slope.

After an hour and a half, you can reach the top of the flat mountain peak, and your vision becomes wider: you can see all the mountains at your feet, and you can see the small mountains at a glance. The golden grass slope is like a beautiful picture, jumping under the blue sky and white clouds. On the other side, the peaks are convex and concave, like the bottom of a ship, and the distant peaks and valleys are connected with the sky. On the left side of the peak valley is the majestic fracture landform, where contains the Grand Canyon.

Through the high peak, the front is still vast grass slope, but the terrain is no longer steep, here is sunset peak prairie. Sunset peak prairie is different from the prairie in northern China. It is interspersed in the rolling mountains, hills, plains, steep slopes, depressions, one by one, boundless. The field of vision is full of golden grassland. Because it is sandwiched in the mountains and connected with the big grass slope on the top of the high mountain, people often think that it is the vast grass slope, but ignore that it is the alpine prairie.

At five o'clock in the morning, you can go to the man-made rubble pile with the sign on the bottom and top of the boat and wait for the sunrise quietly: the moon is hanging in the sky, hazy, and the brightness of last night is gone. The Milky sea of clouds is like a fog covering the mountains, and the summit is exposed in the sea of clouds. Gradually, yellow light appeared on the horizon, and then yellow turned into red yellow. Suddenly, the golden sun slowly rose from the sea of clouds, thousands of rays penetrated the fog like sea of clouds, and thousands of rays shot to the bottom and top of the ship. Historical legend

It is said that there is a big mountain in the north, whose top is like the inverted buckle of a big ship, so it is called bottom top. At the bottom and top of the boat, it is 500 feet high, with dangerous mountains, rugged paths, luxuriant vegetation, and snakes and beasts. If you want to reach the top, you have to go through deep valleys and streams, climb cliffs and rocks, pass through high grass and dense forests, and find the right way to climb and fall. The slightest carelessness, or not, or go astray, or eat snakes and insects, or fall on pebbles. Where there are many dangers, the mountain people all respect them for the protection of ghosts and gods.

Tour route

Dabu is open and close to Ruyuan Grand Canyon. The legendary Fairy Lake, Huoshaoshan and Dabu Caohai have beautiful scenery. The reason why we choose Dabu is to take good photos when there is enough sunshine. We welcome SLRs to follow us. Pingkeng gravel slope has typical ship line characteristics. It is not a complete ship line without gravel slope. Luokeng is also a safe and fast disembarking line. Dabu Xiadong chuanditing pingkeng Luokeng is a route covering all kinds of mountainous landforms in Guangdong Province, including jungle, grass slope, canyon, swamp, gravel slope, Boulder slope, tractor road, river tracing and climbing section. The route is long. It crosses Qujiang and Ruyuan districts and counties, passes through the boundary steles of the three counties, and has a withdrawal point (gorge cave) in the middle. It is a rare hiking route in Guangdong Province.

Shimentai Dabu is the longest route on the bottom and top of the boat, known as the legend of immortality. It starts from Shimentai protection station in the South and extends northward. After passing through the bottom and top of the boat, it goes northwestward to dabuxiajiang village, about 45km. The first day's journey basically includes all the road features, mountain roads, tractor roads, canals, and rocky slopes. The difficulty lies in the rocky slopes, three up and one down. The second day's journey is mainly through dense forests and long mountain roads, but if the weather is good, the scenery is very good.

Mountaineering strategy

1. There are more than 10 routes known and operated: Dabu xiannuhu Xiadong gaozhangding chuanditing; Jiangwan xiannuhu Xiadong gaozhangding chuanditing; Luokeng Xindong Xiadong gaozhangding chuanditing; Lianshan xikengwo southwest ridge chuanditing, etc. the longest route is the one with good physical ability and familiar with the route, which can be light in about 15 hours The installation is complete.

2. The line from the top of the bottom of the ship to the stone gate is long, and there is a retreat point (PIT) in the middle, which is a good training line. But if the weather is bad, when the clouds are around, it will bring great difficulty to identify the direction, easy to get lost.

3. The mountain on the bottom of the boat is complex and the climate is changeable. The temperature varies greatly in a day. Wind, rain, fog and hot sun often come together. We need to be well prepared.
