Taohua mountain resort is located at the junction of Taoyuan County and Yuanling County in Hunan Province, located in Guanzhuang town. It is a new agricultural ecological leisure resort integrating nature, humanity and eco-tourism.

It is an ideal one-day tour to visit the Mogao Grottoes in the south of the Yangtze River in the East, the golden culture of Chenzhou Mining Company in the south, the ancient battlefield of "the first pass of Chenlong in the world" granted by Emperor Kangxi in the west, the Wuqiangxi scenic spot in the north and the hometown of Ma Yuan's expedition to the south.

Local customs

Huachao Festival is to commemorate the birthday of Baihua, referred to as Huachao, commonly known as "Huashen Festival", "Baihua birthday", "Huashen birthday" and "picking vegetables Festival". It is a traditional festival of Han nationality, popular in Northeast China, North China, East China, central and South China, and is generally held on the second day of the second lunar month, February 12 or February 15. During the festival, people go to the outskirts to visit flowers together, which is called "outing". Girls cut colorful paper and stick it on the flower branches, which is called "appreciating red".

Every year, the flower festival is held in Laojie village of Guanzhuang town on March 8, and all the men, women, old and young in the village go out in full dress.
