There are two plaques hanging behind the Wangyue tower. One is "Zhengyi Xinxin" and the other is "Yilun Youxu", which were written by celebrities during the reign of Qianlong and Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty.
Toji
The East Temple, echoing the North Temple, is one of the three famous temples in Linqing. It was built in the first year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty (1465), with a history of more than 500 years. It covers an area of more than 20000 square meters. The building consists of gate, two gates, hall, main hall, opposite hall, South and North lecture hall, bath room, etc. The main hall is of palace style, with a convex shape and four corner cornice on the top of the hall, and a floor to floor lattice fan on the door. Inside the hall, there are pine wood floors, six plaques with Arwen Sutra characters, eight wooden pillars with Arwen Sutra in different shapes. What is particularly precious is that up to now 30 pieces of Mian paper murals have been preserved in the hall, which is the only one of the similar buildings in China. On both sides of the shrine are Arvin's round light, and the word on the left side means "you enter the ranks of Muslims.". The word on the right side means "enter the paradise of the Lord", and the palace is magnificent. In front of the hall, there are three rooms wide and two rooms deep, with floor lattice fans, six doors connected, and two octagonal windows. In front of the hall, there are painted and carved gatehouses with unique shapes. There are three ancient plaques hanging on it, which are "Wanhua Chaozhen", "yiben Wanshu" and "daoyoutongzong". The whole building integrates Chinese traditional architectural art and Islamic culture, which is a rare architectural art.
Moon tower
Through the moon tower, you enter the stone Danlong, surrounded by jade railings. A magnificent and magnificent tall building will be displayed in front of us, which is the main hall of the mosque. It consists of the front hall, the back hall and the building. The top of the hall is a veranda type structure, which is the highest standard building form in feudal society. The top of the hall is covered with yellow and green glazed tiles, with flying eaves, which disturb the eagle's wings. It is magnificent. The door of the hall is floor to floor lattice fan, with Dou Gong and opencut hanging. Queti still retains the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty. Hanging on both sides of the main entrance is a couplet written by Wang Bo, a famous calligrapher and magistrate of Linqing during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. The first couplet is: "where things are bright, where things are rare, where things are rare, where things are rare, where things are rare, where things are rare, where things are rare, where things are rare, where things are rare, where things are rare, where things are rare, where things are rare, where things are rare, where things are rare, where things are rare, and where things are rare, where things. The back eaves of the main hall are connected with the back hall. The top of the hall is a hook and tie type, and the upper part is a kiln pavilion with three hexagonal umbrella covered pavilions as the main body. The top of the kiln is steep, and the top is decorated with gold-plated gourd. On the left and right sides of the main hall, there are corner pavilions. The corner Pavilion is built on the base of the platform, exquisite and clear, which makes the main hall more solemn. The north and south sides of the main hall are the lecture halls, which correspond to each other. In front of the lecture hall, there is a rolling shed corridor building, with lattice floor to floor doors, octagonal windows, plaques and couplets, which seem to reveal the fragrance of books.
Entering the hall, a deep and mysterious atmosphere came. In the hall, there are many columns, tall and open. The walls are painted with dark red, brown and gold patterns and Arabic characters. There is a "Shrine" in the center of the hall, facing Mecca, the holy land. On the right side, there is minbai tower. There are arches running through the hall. The hall can serve more than 2000 people. What is precious is that the murals, flowers and fruit trees of the Ming Dynasty are still kept on the walls of both sides of the arch. The caisson in the back hall is exquisitely drawn, with geometric patterns composed of Arabic characters and flowers. It is neat and exquisite, simple and elegant, and still shines brilliantly after hundreds of years.
architectural style
The building of Linqing mosque has a large scale, and the architectural style not only has the characteristics of Islamic religious architecture, but also more reflects the traditional wood structure architectural style of our country. In the northwest of Shandong Province, it can be called the crown of temples, which fully shows the wisdom of the ancient working people and the fine tradition of great integration and unity of all Chinese nationalities.
The whole group of buildings basically belong to the local traditional architectural style, except for the individual architectural forms that reveal the external flavor. It was rebuilt in the 43rd year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty. In 1992, it was approved as a provincial protection unit.
The whole mosque building is composed of two rows of opposite, medium high and low wooden archways and Xieshan double eaves pavilions. The architectural form, with Chinese tradition as the main theme, reveals the foreign flavor, with exquisite layout, tight structure and generous extension, is a rare architectural art. In the courtyard, the ancient cypresses are towering, deep and elegant, and the words of celebrities and sages are vividly on the plaques and couplets, which makes people enjoy themselves and forget to return.
1. Since the second year of kangyonghui (651), Islam has been introduced into China for more than 1500 years. Islamic architecture has gradually changed from Yubao style to traditional Chinese palace style. Due to the respect for Mecca, the central axis of the building is east-west. However, the East Muslim temple in Linqing is a vertical intersection of East-West and North-South axes, which is the only case of Islamic architecture in China. This unique architectural personality is the integration of the south-north orientation of Han culture and the west orientation of Islamic culture. It reflects the rich cultural connotation of the collision and fusion of the two cultures in the hundreds of years of Linqing Dynasty. It has great personality and research value in the history of China's religious culture.
2. The Linqing mosque is magnificent, almost like a palace. The carved beams of the mountain gate and the East lecture hall are hung with flat, round and transparent carvings, which are of Huizhou style. The architectural components, such as kisses, animals, immortals, animal ridges and tiles, respect Islam and have no idolatry. All of them have evolved into flower patterns. Murals, round lights, plaques, tile couplets and so on have both the Koran and Bible proverbs, and the essence of the Analects, the golden mean, and the book of changes of Chinese culture. The style of the book not only has the regular script and running script of Chinese culture, but also has the Muslim Kufa style and Persian style, which are simple and harmonious and complement each other. Compared with the surrounding Anyang, Handan, Jinan, Jining, Qingzhou, Taierzhuang and other counties and cities, Linqing mosque has high specifications, broad buildings and far-reaching influence, which fully reflects the historical track of Islamic culture in Linqing's migration, settlement, reproduction, integration and development, as well as the cultural diversity, inclusiveness and affinity of Linqing. This kind of historical experience and cultural connotation of national unity and harmony, shared life and culture, has profound social value and research value.
3. The Miandi mural of Linqing mosque is different from the traditional Chinese architecture, which is plastered with machete plaster. It is unique in the country to use wool plaster and then create murals on it. Murals and other temples single flat painting techniques are obviously different, with the artistic effect of Xuan paper Yin run. For hundreds of years, the color does not fade, the ink is divided into five colors, lifelike, has a special contribution in the history of Chinese painting, has great research value.
