Buildings in the Museum

Memorial Hall of martyr Dong Cunrui Memorial Hall of martyr Dong Cunrui is located in the north of the statue of martyr, 24 meters west of the central axis of the cemetery building. In 1992, it was expanded on the former site of the memorial hall of revolutionary martyrs, facing the original hall from east to west. The 30 meter long, 15.4-meter-high antique building was designed by Zhang Yongpeng and designed by Yi shoubin, director of the design office of Longhua County construction contracting Bureau. It is one of the best of the main buildings in the cemetery. Reinforced concrete is used as the raw material. It is a kind of tile Pavilion building with no bucket purlin. The rectangular terrace, the hexagonal attic with double eaves, the white background, the eaves and the green glazed tile on the roof, fresh style, refreshing and refreshing, but also simple and elegant, light contains solemnity, and with the rich content of internal display, it attracts countless tourists to come here to remember the heroes.

The front of the memorial hall is a 30 meter long colonnade, which is 6.7 meters high and 2.2 meters deep. It ascends five steps. On both sides of the 4-meter-wide gate, there is a 4.2-high pillar every 3 meters. Ten bright pillars are arranged in a row, and the sparrows are connected among them for decoration; white walls are held up on the pillars. The eaves under the wall are 3 meters away, which is a large type of tile top ice plate eaves; the green glazed tile ridge of the viewing wall has a corner with a corner kissing beast, and the corner ridge has tiles such as lions, phoenixes and dragons. There are three windows on each side of the corridor core wall of the gate, and the walls between the doors and windows each have a square pool with a side length of two meters, which is carved with a golden fragrance pattern surrounded by four butterflies.

The entrance is the exhibition hall on the first floor of the memorial hall, which is 28 meters wide and 15 meters deep. The yingmen is a 10 meter long, 6.3-meter-deep three-dimensional suite, in which there is a clay statue of Dong Cunrui who sacrificed his life to blow up a blockhouse and a simulated three-dimensional painting. Behind the statue is a half scene painting of the people's Liberation Army's conquering Longhua. With modern sound and light technology, it vividly reproduces the thrilling fighting scenes in the era of war, making people feel personally on the scene. There are TV recordings and instructions on both sides. The commentator describes the tragic war scenes in vivid language. The sound reverberates in his heart for a long time, giving people endless reverie. From the secret door to the second floor, through the veranda, you can get to the front of the attic. The attic is in the center of the building, surrounded by a square platform 11.4 meters long and 1.5 meters high. The parapet in front of the platform is just above the gate on the first floor. It is decorated with hollowed out flowers and red torch pattern is welded on both sides. The gold character in the middle is the name of "martyr Dong Cunrui Memorial Hall" inscribed by general Zhang Aiping at the invitation of Longhua martyr cemetery in 1990. The attic is 10 meters high, with double eaves and six corners, and the roof is made of tubular plate. The double eaves are tilted, 10.8 meters on each side; there are six ridges, and 12 animal backs are connected; the eaves are pecked on the corner, and the ridge of the corner is hung down, and there are three small animal tiles in front of the animal. The upper eaves have six vertical ridges, each 7 meters long, with vertical animals. There are 6 trotting animals in front of the beast, namely lion, Phoenix, dragon, seahorse, *, and so on. The four sides of the terrace outside the attic, the back and side are not decorated with flowers, just 1 meter high gables.
