Olympic Avenue Park

The park is located between pigeon Nest Park and strange building park. It is a park with the theme of Olympic Games and provides leisure and entertainment places for the public. In the park, there are Olympic champion's handprint, Olympic relief, music fountain, basketball court, standard sports field, gatecourt, tennis court, football field, roller skating field, elderly and children's activity center and other fitness and leisure places.

Olympic Avenue Park

Olympic Avenue Park is located in Beidaihe District, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. It is the only theme park with Olympic content in China. In April 2002, with the approval of the State General Administration of sports and the Organizing Committee of the 29th Olympic Games, Qinhuangdao built the Binhai Avenue for the Olympic Games and named it "Olympic Avenue"

. The Olympic Avenue Park was completed on May 1, 2005 and opened to the public free of charge. In order to carry forward the Olympic spirit, spread the Olympic culture, and add new tourist landscapes and places for residents' leisure and fitness, Beidaihe District Party committee and government invested 45 million yuan to build the park.

Beidaihe Olympic Avenue Park won the gold award of national landscape engineering

In 2005, Beidaihe Olympic Avenue Park won the gold award of national landscape engineering for its "shocking, aftertaste and harmonious scene" expert evaluation. This is the only project in Hebei Province that has won this award. Beidaihe Olympic Avenue is 2.6km long, with two-way six lanes, which leads to Qinhuangdao football field of 2008 Olympic Games. Beidaihe Olympic Avenue Park, built on the edge of the avenue, covers an area of 15.56 hectares. The park is characterized by leisure and fitness, tourism and sightseeing.

Olympic statues

According to the information provided by national authorities, there are 79 events since the beginning of the Olympic Games. However, with the passage of time, new events have been added and old events have been eliminated according to the popularity of sports. These works of our park are jointly organized by China Artists Association, China Sculpture Art Committee and Beidaihe District People's government. More than 300 people from eight major art institutes and domestic industry participated in the competition. A total of 860 works were collected. 57 works were selected by the judges and the masses. Some of them are waiting for design and production. Gymnastics, chess, horse vaulting, silver rope, beach volleyball, baseball, skiing, ice dancing, hockey, ice skating, badminton, shooting, dream chasing, table tennis, century relay, football, silver wind, trampoline, synchronized swimming, ugly duckling, diving, rowing, roll forward and roll back, Samaranch and little girl, classical wrestling, cruising, swimming, five ring angel.

Main landscape

The main landscape is composed of theme statues, music fountains, 58 individual statues, Olympic relief wall, as well as the palmprint, footprints and signatures of 30 Chinese Olympic champions.

On May 1, 2005, the Olympic Avenue Park held a ten thousand people roller skating competition and declared the Guinness world record, which is known as the largest number of roller skating competition in history.

Beidaihe Olympic Avenue Park is located in the east of Olympic Avenue, covering a total area of 155600 square meters. There are relief walls with the theme of "Centennial Olympics" showing the origin and development of the Olympic Games, statues of former IOC President Samaranch and seven other presidents, fingerprints, footprints and signatures of 45 Chinese Olympic champions, large music fountains, 58 single sculptures, various valuable trees and basketball courts, standard sports grounds, gatecourts, tennis courts, football fields, etc Roller skating field, elderly and children's activity center and other sports fitness fields.

The biggest sculpture of the Olympic Games is a huge peace dove made of stainless steel. If you look carefully, you will find that it is a burning torch. The Olympic relief wall, 312.61 meters in length and 2.7 meters in height, is composed of 254 pieces of pearl black granite. It adopts five carving techniques: round carving, high relief carving, medium relief carving, low relief carving and line carving. The relief wall is divided into three parts: the Millennium flame, the melody of life and the Olympic China. The wall is based on Olympic history. No matter the display, scale, form and content is the only one in the world, and declare the Guinness Book of records.
