Cave archway

Cave tower

It is the former site of "Gongguan Temple" built in the first year of Daoguang reign of Qing Dynasty. It is the largest building on the top of the mountain and has a long history. There are thousands of views in Pingyan cave. The first one is jinsijian. The myth is also born from the crevice. It is said that when LV Dongbin travels to Pingyan, he is ridiculed by passers-by for carrying his sword all day, but he can't use it. It must be a piece of scrap iron with blunt sword and no edge. Lu Dongbin was very angry. For a moment, he wielded his sword to split the rock and cut out the deep mountain stream. There is another saying about how deep the mountain stream is. It is said that taishanglaojun and barefoot immortal came down to jinsijian to play. When the two immortals saw the stream, they bet on the depth of the stream. Huansha's Xi Shi borrowed a kilo of silk and put it in the stream, just to the end. Therefore, taishanglaojun named it jinsijian.
