Ma'anling

Also known as shichengling, the back of the ridge is shaped like a "concave" shape, like a saddle. It is the boundary ridge between dongneigu and xineigu, and also the passage from Lingyan scenic area to dalongqiu. From Ma'anling, you can see Danfeng green and spectacular.

Ma'anling

Ma'anling is a mountain peak to the east of Dengbu town in Yujiang district. The mountain is like a saddle, hence its name. It is also said that Ma Gang, a local mountain dweller, was stopped by the Dragon King for pursuing the Jiulong girl. The Jiulong girl was depressed and turned into Jiulong peak in the northeast of the city. Magang, on the other hand, turns into this mountain, facing jiulongfeng across the river. Therefore, local people also call this mountain magangling. On August 5, 1997, it was approved as a provincial forest park by the provincial forestry department.

From a distance, Ma'anling has the shape of tiger leaping and dragon leaping. Although the mountain is not high, its momentum is extraordinary. At the foot of the mountain, there is the Baita river winding around the mountain; on the mountain, there are green pines and cypresses. A few years ago, Yujiang district Party committee turned it into a forest park and built steps to reach the top of the mountain. From then on, every morning, an endless stream of county residents climb up the mountain to enjoy the scenery. Today, Ma'anling has become a natural oxygen bar for Yujiang people. Energy saving lamps and environmental protection dustbins have been installed on the mountain.

Folklore

Southwest of xianshuiyan and north of shiziyan, there is a mountain with a shape similar to the saddle on a horse's back. This is Ma'anling, which is known to all men, women, old and young in Yujiang district. According to legend, in ancient times, there was an immortal, carrying two big baskets on his shoulders, riding a horse with high head, flying in the clouds and fog, flying to Anren from that remote place. When he passed by dengjiabu, for some reason, the steed roared up to the sky, lost a hoof in fright, fell down and fell to the ground. The saddle on the horse's back fell down and immediately became a big mountain. It was Ma'anling. On the immortal's shoulder, the article burden was crooked, and two big baskets fell out side by side, and immediately became two other small mountains. They are now Longgang mountain and Zenggang mountain beside Ma'anling. In a fit of anger, the immortal simply threw back his shoulder and became the Baita River, which connected Guixi River and Tongtong river.

Cultural details

There are many pieces of plain stone pottery from Shang and Zhou Dynasties on the mountain. The trees are luxuriant, and there are many kinds of animals and plants protected by the state. In the mountains, there were "three immortals Temple" in ancient times, Ma'an temple and Taofen Pavilion today. It is a special park for summer tourism and investigation. Now it has become an oxygen bar for urban residents to exercise in the morning and evening.
