The monument is 6.3 meters in height, 0.9 meters in length and 0.9 meters in width, and 2.3 meters in length and width. Ren Zheng, a famous calligrapher, wrote the name of the monument: "monument to the armed uprising in the north of the island". Behind the monument, there is a memorial pavilion with a base of 7.5 meters long and a width of 5.8 meters, surrounded by a corridor of 1.6 meters wide. There are concrete bars outside the corridor, and the top of the pavilion is a cement platform. The front of the pavilion is engraved with the name of the pavilion inscribed by Wang Fang, former Secretary of Zhejiang provincial Party committee: "memorial Pavilion of the armed uprising in the north of the island". Hu Jingjian, former Secretary of Oubei central county Party committee and political commissar of Yongle people's Anti Japanese guerrilla corps, wrote the inscription.
