In the forest of the east of Zhongshan Mausoleum and the west of Linggu Temple in the east of Nanjing, there is a classical building imitating the Lama Temple of Qing Dynasty hidden by streams and trees. It is built according to the mountain and has great momentum. Here is the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall, which is the Museum to preserve and display the historical relics of the great man Sun Yat Sen. The Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall, formerly known as the Sutra collection building, is one of the many memorial buildings in the Sun Yat Sen mausoleum. It was originally donated by the Chinese Buddhist Association and was initially used for collecting Buddhist scriptures. The building, which covers an area of more than 3000 square meters, consists of three parts: the main building, the monk's room and the stele corridor. It was designed by the famous architect Lu Fengzhang and completed in the winter of 1936. When you come to the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall, the first thing you see is a bronze statue of Sun Yat Sen standing on the stone steps in the center of the square. The bronze statue is 2.9 meters high and weighs more than a ton. It takes Sun Yat Sen's posture of delivering a speech to the public as its shape. It is majestic and lifelike. This bronze statue was presented by a Japanese friend of Dr. Sun Yat Sen's life.
The Sutra house is full of historical vicissitudes. Before the Anti Japanese War, a number of precious cultural relics and Buddhist scriptures were collected in the Sutra building. These cultural relics and Buddhist scriptures were presented or recommended by Buddhist circles after the building was completed. After the outbreak of the Anti Japanese War, the Sutra house was seriously damaged, the monk's house and stele gallery were destroyed by Japanese artillery fire, and the cultural relics and Buddhist scriptures were also missing. After the founding of new China, the local government allocated funds for many times and gradually built the main building, monk's house and stele corridor. In November 1986, to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Dr. Sun Yat Sen's birth, a rich exhibition of Dr. Sun Yat Sen's historical relics and works was held here. For the first time, the library has received a large-scale overseas mausoleum visiting delegation composed of people from all walks of life in Hong Kong and Macao, as well as experts and scholars attending academic seminars. Sun suiying, sun Suihua, Dai Chenggong and many well-known people at home and abroad came here to visit. On May 7, 1987, Nanjing Municipal People's government officially approved the building as "Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall". On May 30, 1989, on the eve of Dr. Sun Yat Sen's 60th anniversary of feng'an, the museum was officially opened to the public.

Each lecture was written by the calligraphers at that time, such as Zhang Naigong, Chen Tianxi, Lian Shenghai and Li Qichen. It is a group of precious cultural relics with excellent calligraphy and carving.
Mount the magnificent Zhongshan Mausoleum and look to the East. In the green waves of the dense forest, there is a splendid classical building, just like a beautiful building in a fairyland. This is the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall in Nanjing.
The Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall includes the Sutra collection building, the stele Gallery of the three principles of the people, and the Zhongshan Academy. The Tibetan Scripture building is a traditional Chinese building, including the main building, monk's room and stele gallery. It is one of the memorial buildings of the premier's Mausoleum before the Anti Japanese war. In 1938, the Anti Japanese war broke out, and the main building of the Tibetan Scripture building and the stele Gallery of the three principles of the people were damaged to varying degrees.
In front of the main building of Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall is an oval square surrounded by flowers and trees. Two stone steps on the north side of the square are the main building. In the middle of the first stone step stands the bronze statue of Dr. Sun Yat Sen, which is 2.6 meters high and weighs more than one ton. It was presented by Mr. Sun Yat Sen's Japanese friend, Chuang Ji Meiwu. The bronze statue once stood in the center of Xinjiekou square for 24 years, which is familiar to many Nanjing citizens. There is a pair of bronze tripods on the platform of the second stone step, which was donated by Nanjing Chemical Industry Corporation when it opened in 1989. The main building is a double eaves Xieshan style palace building. The eaves and ridges are covered with yellow glazed tiles. The main ridge and the hanging ridge are matched by dragons, phoenixes and lions. The center of the ridge top is decorated with red copper back wheel Huagai. The beams, columns and beams are decorated with colored paintings. The whole building is decorated with carved beams and painted buildings.
There is a straight forehead hanging in the middle of the third floor, which is inscribed with three characters of "Sutra collection building" and gold characters on a black background. It is written by Wu Zhongqi, a famous contemporary calligrapher. On the lintel of the front door, there are six big characters of "Sun Yat sen Memorial Hall". This is written by Qu Wu, the late vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and honorary chairman of the Central Committee of the democratic revolution.
There are three storeys in the building, with a mezzanine in the middle, totally four storeys. In the hall on the ground floor, the documentary video of "Premier feng'an ceremony" was continuously broadcast. This video was recorded based on the live video of Dr. Sun Yat Sen's death and burial. It truly reproduces the whole process of Dr. Sun Yat Sen's death, public sacrifice, mausoleum building, welcome and feng'an, with many precious historical scenes.
The four walls of the hall are inlaid with a giant plaque of the full text of the outline of the founding of the people's Republic written by Dr. Sun Yat Sen. Hu Hanmin's handwriting "the will of the premier" is engraved on the front wall, and Sun Yat Sen's handwriting "human evolution, world harmony" couplet is on both sides.
On the fourth wall of the outdoor cloister on the third floor, there is a large-scale photo exhibition of "eternal memorial", which shows the historical scenes of leaders and celebrities visiting Zhongshan Mausoleum. There are books about Dr. Sun Yat Sen on display in the exhibition cabinet. The third and fourth floors are the main exhibition of the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall. There are five exhibition halls, which are divided into seven parts. The exhibition line is 180 meters long, with 315 historical pictures and nearly 100 cultural relics and models, showing the great and glorious life of Dr. Sun Yat Sen. The design of the exhibition is novel and the production is excellent. In terms of the display method, modern technology-t-sections such as sound, light and electricity are adopted, which greatly enhances the effect of the exhibition. In particular, the large-scale computer spray painting "the great men of the century" at the end of the fourth floor vividly interprets the modern history of the three great men from Sun Yat Sen, Mao Zedong to Deng Xiaoping in the 20th century expounded by Comrade Jiang Zemin in the report of the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of China The great role played in the history gives us profound enlightenment.
The stele corridor behind the main building is a rare large stele corridor in China. The stele corridor is 125 meters long and symmetrical. There are five monk rooms on the central axis, two corridors and two stele pavilions on the two wings. On the wall of the corridor are 138 pieces of blue stone tablets from Songshan Mountain in Henan Province presented by general Feng Yuxiang. As early as the autumn of 1920, Feng Yuxiang began to contact Sun Yat Sen. since then, Sun Yat Sen has been doing his work. By the end of 1928, Zhongshan Mausoleum was about to be completed, and the cemetery was actively preparing for Sun Yat Sen's burial. Feng Yuxiang, through Sun Ke, told the Preparatory Office of Sun Yat Sen's burial that he was willing to donate a batch of green steles from Songshan Mountain in Henan Province to engrave the full text of Sun Zhong LJJ's "three principles of the people" in Zhongshan Mausoleum. After getting approval, he carefully selected more than 90 steles and transported them to Nanjing to be engraved directly opposite Zhongshan Mausoleum And build a 13 story memorial tower there. In 1930, the Central Plains war broke out among Jiang, Feng and Yan, and Feng Yuxiang's plan to carve a monument and build a pagoda in shaojiashan, Zhongshan cemetery, came to nothing. It was not until 1935 that the Buddhist Association of China built the Sutra collection building on the east side of the tomb of Zhongshan that these steles were used to build a corridor behind the Sutra collection building, engraved with the full text of Sun Yat Sen's three principles of the people. More than 90 pieces of Steles presented by Feng Yuxiang were not enough. He also bought more than 40 pieces of Steles from Songshan Mountain, Henan Province, and meticulously engraved the full text of the three principles of the people, with a total of 16 lectures and 155000 words. It was written by 14 calligraphers in the period of the Republic of China. All of them were in regular script, with different styles and exquisite attainments. It can be called the best of contemporary calligraphy art and has high appreciation value.
Sun Yat Sen academy, funded by the Chinese in Antigua, North America, Mr. Zhang Jian, chairman of yilihui Investment Co., Ltd., and Mr. Jiang Ming, director of yilihui Investment Co., Ltd., was officially opened to the public at home and abroad on March 12, 1995, marking the 70th anniversary of Dr. Sun Yat Sen's death
