Ji'an Bailuzhou
Bailuzhou (Bailuzhou, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province) located in the middle of Ganjiang River in the east of Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, Bailuzhou is a shuttle shaped oasis with 1.5 km long and 0.5 km wide. It is formed by river water carrying sediment and looks like egrets. The island is covered with luxuriant forests and bamboos, making it a habitat for hundreds of birds.
Introduction to Bailuzhou
The surging water in the river and the wandering fish and shrimp provide abundant food for birds, so there are many birds and egrets on the island. Li Bai, a great poet of Tang Dynasty, was named after his poem "three mountains and a half fall in the sky, two rivers divide into egrets island". Because Bailu island is far away from the shore, although the terrain in the center of the island is higher than that of the river bank, because of the parallax, when you look at it from the shore, you always feel that Bailu island is far lower than that of the river bank. However, every time there is a flood, the river bank is flooded, and the center of the island is not dead, so there is a saying that "the water rises and the egret floats".
Historical evolution
On the island, bamboo and wood cages, grass, quiet environment, beautiful scenery. In the first year of song Chunhu (1241), Jizhou prefect Jiang Wanli founded Bailuzhou academy, where he collected Junxiu from Bayi of Jizhou to study. In the fourth year of Baoyou (1256), 39 members of the academy and Jiangxi Ji'an Bailuzhou academy entered the golden list of Jinshi. Wen Tianxiang was the number one scholar in senior high school, shaking the court and the public. Song LiZong personally granted the Royal book "Bailuzhou academy" plaque and hung the gate of the Academy. Since then, the academy has gained a great reputation. Together with Bailudong, Yuzhang and Ehu, they are the four major academies in Jiangxi. The existing "Yunzhang Pavilion" on the island was rebuilt in the 20th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1592); the "Fengyue tower" is a three story pavilion with brick and wood structure full of national architectural style, which was rebuilt in the 7th year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1868). In addition, there are the ruins of panyuechi, zhuangyuanqiao, gujitai and other academies. Since 1241, Bailu island has been the seat of the University. After more than 700 years, there have been many books on the island. Now it is the location of Bailuzhou middle school, a key middle school in Jiangxi Province. According to incomplete statistics, there are more than 400 alumni of Bailuzhou middle school working all over the country with senior titles such as academician, Professor, associate professor, researcher and senior engineer. In 1987, Bailuzhou bridge was built to connect Bailuzhou with the urban area. Shangzhou is very convenient.
