Dacheng Hall of Zhangpu Confucian Temple

Located in hougouxiang (Guantang in ancient times), sui'an Town, Zhangpu County, Fujian Province, it was built in the third year of Xining reign of Shenzong in the Northern Song Dynasty and rebuilt in the second year of Hongwu reign of Taizu in the Ming Dynasty. It covers an area of 4900 square meters and faces south. The main hall is five rooms wide and five rooms deep. It is a double eaves Xieshan and bucket arch beam lifting structure. There are five steles of Ming and Qing Dynasties in Dacheng hall.

In the 32nd year of Shaoxing, Emperor Gaozong of the Southern Song Dynasty, there was a miserable Autumn Festival. Chen Congyi, the county magistrate, moved to Chenggang, where there were 60 houses and 60 primary schools. In the fifth year of Qiandao reign of emperor Xiaozong in the Southern Song Dynasty, Xue Shiqing, the county magistrate, moved to the former site of Guantang because of the disadvantage of imperial examination. There was a disaster in Jiading of Shangliang Dynasty in the autumn of 1898. Zhao Shijin, the magistrate of the county, proposed Yi zuokan as Hai. Eight people recommended Yi zuokan at that time. Since then, it has continued. The Yin and Yang school thought that Yi Hai mountain was an experience. Yuan is still the reason. At the beginning of Hongwu Period in Ming Dynasty, the Dacheng hall was built by Zhangli county magistrate. It was 55 feet wide and as deep as it was wide. In front of the East and west of the hall are the halberd gate and the Lingxing gate. In the Zhengtong period of the Ming Dynasty, Li Shu, who was also known as Tongzhi, chiseled panchi.
