Tomb of martyr Luo Zhe
The tomb of martyr Luo Zhe is located in Gaotang village, Majiahe Township, Zhuzhou City. In the center of the tomb, Chairman Mao Zedong's handwritten "Tomb of martyr Luo zhe" is engraved on the tombstone. On both sides are epitaphs recording the life of the martyr. Martyr Luo zhe was an early member of the Communist Party of China, who died in 1928.
Introduction to scenic spots
It is 17 kilometers away from the county. The tomb faces south by West. It is made of Sansha soil. Three white marble steles are erected above the tomb. The frame and the top of the stele are decorated with granite, with a total height of 2 meters. In the center of the tombstone, Chairman Mao Zedong's handwritten "Tomb of martyr Luo zhe" is engraved in the shade, with epitaphs on both sides, recording the life stories of the martyrs. Martyr Luo zhe was an early member of the Communist Party of China, who died in 1928. On August 11, 1956, Chairman Mao Zedong wrote a letter to Luo Zhe's family and sent the inscription and a 300 yuan grant to repair Luo Zhe's tomb. With the support of Xiangtan County People's Committee, the martyr's tomb was soon completed. In January 1962, the Zhuzhou Municipal People's Committee renovated the Qiyang stone tombstone and added the epitaph.
Profile
Luo Zhe, whose name is Yiheng, was born in dabantang, Majiahe. Born in 1902, he was a teacher of the central Peasant Movement Institute in 1926. He was introduced by Mao Zedong to join the Communist Party of China. At the beginning of 1927, he served as the Secretary of the Preparatory Committee of the National Farmers' Association, assisting Mao Zedong in preparing the work of the National Farmers' Association. He was arrested in 1928 and killed in Changsha by Kuomintang reactionaries. On August 11, 1956, Chairman Mao Zedong wrote a letter to Luo Zhe's family and sent the inscription of "the tomb of martyr Luo zhe" and a 300 yuan grant to repair the tomb for Luo Zhe.
