Shanhai square scenic spot is located in the western coastal tourism zone of Yingkou Development Zone (Bayuquan) in Liaoning Province. It is composed of Shanhai square, new Crescent Bay bathing beach, sea view dike (trestle), viewing platform and Spanish mackerel Princess sculpture.

Shanhai square scenic spot is located in the western coastal tourism belt of Yingkou Development Zone (Bayuquan) in Liaoning Province, covering an area of about 300000 square meters. The construction of the scenic spot project started in early 2008 and was basically completed by the end of 2009, with a total investment of about 350 million yuan. The Fourth Engineering Co., Ltd. of the first navigation bureau of CCCC is responsible for the construction. Shanhai square scenic area is a first-class Gold Coast Tourism Belt with multiple functions such as tourism, vacation, leisure and entertainment, fitness and so on.

Introduction

Shanhai square scenic spot is located in the western coastal tourism zone of Yingkou Development Zone, covering a total area of 400000 square meters. It is composed of Shanhai square, new Crescent Bay bathing beach, sea view dike (trestle), Bohai pearl viewing platform (shell) and Spanish mackerel Princess sculpture. The construction of the scenic spot started in early 2008 with a total investment of 350 million yuan. Shanhai square scenic area is a comprehensive scenic area with the functions of tourism, leisure and sports.

Shanhai square covers an area of about 100000 square meters, of which the main building area of the square is 60000 square meters, which is the main urban landscape of the new urban area in the south of the development zone. The square is divided into two floors. The first floor is the commercial network of Crescent Bay bathing beach, and the second floor is a sea viewing platform composed of green belt, landscape lighting, music fountain, etc. Its main landscapes include the entrance square, the Chengxin flute sculpture, eight white marble relief walls reflecting the history and folk customs of Yingkou area, the bronze Beaded stone, the bronze sculpture of the twelve animals of the sea and the sunken Performing Arts Square.

Xinyueyawan bathing beach is located on the 1500 meter long coastline on the north and south sides of Shanhai square. Along the coastline, 2500 meter long wooden plank road and stone Island red landscape wall, 3000 meter long battery lane, 15 meter wide green belt and five comprehensive tourism service stations have been built.

The Bohai Pearl (shell) viewing platform is from Shanhai square to the West and can be reached by the 668 meter long sea viewing dike (trestle). The total height of the viewing platform is 40 meters, the main body is steel structure, and the maximum cantilever length is 65 meters. The main functions include: there is a small performing field on the top floor of the viewing platform, including a 1000 square meter stage and 700 seats auditorium, and fishing and bungee jumping facilities on the overhanging edge of the viewing platform.

Located 1500 meters west of Shanhai square, the sculpture of Spanish mackerel Princess originated from the legend of Bayuquan. The sculpture is 60 meters high, made of stainless steel, with concrete and caisson structure foundation under 11 meters of external facing, and steel structure as internal support system. It is the landmark of the whole scenic area.

Shanhai square tourism area, as the city welcome Hall of the modern and ecological port tourism city in the Development Zone, is an important business card of the western coastal tourism belt, which is the concentration of the tourism development and urban cultural heritage of Yingkou Development Zone.

The legend of human shark scenic spot covers an area of about 300000 square meters. It is composed of mermaid square, mermaid bathing beach, mermaid viewing seawall (trestle), mermaid shell and Princess Lisa, and the twelve zodiac animals in the sea.

Main attractions

Mermaid square

It covers an area of about 100000 square meters, including 58000 square meters of square land. The construction started in April 2008 and was completed and put into use in May 2009. The square is the main square of the new urban area in the south of the Development Zone, and also serves as a supporting service for the bathing beach. Its main landscapes are the entrance square, mermaid playing flute; eight Mermaid landscape walls reflecting the local customs and historical sites of Yingkou area; Mermaid turning into a pearl; twelve zodiac animals on the sea and sunken Performing Arts Square, etc.

Mermaid bath

The project was started in April 2008 and completed in July 2009. The main facilities of the new bathing place are: the red view wall of Shidao with a length of about 2500 meters along the coastline; the wooden plank road with a length of 2500 meters and a width of 4 meters; the battery lane with a length of 3000 meters and a width of 6 meters; the green belt with an average width of about 15 meters, small service stations and other ancillary facilities.

Mermaid view seawall

The guanhaidi project was started in January 2008 and completed in August 2008, with a length of 668m and a width of 8m. The viewing platform is designed as a steel structure with a height of 40 meters, a maximum cantilever length of 65 meters and a projection area of 8000 square meters. The main functions include: top viewing platform, which was started in March 2009, completed in December 2009 and officially opened to tourists in August 2010.

shell

It started construction in March 2009 and officially opened to the outside world in mid August 2010. It took one year and five months and cost 90 million. It is the largest offshore building in China. The unique appearance design can be called the best in China. It adopts the bionics principle, just like the shell in the tide power, and is known as the "sea shell". The top of the viewing platform is 40 meters away from the sea level, with a 1000 square meter stage and more than 1300 seats in the middle. Small performing arts venues with seats can hold various kinds of press conferences.

Spanish mackerel Princess

It is located on the reef 1500 meters away from the coastline, 60 meters high. The part above 11 meters of external facing is stainless steel, and the part below is concrete. The foundation is caisson structure, and the internal support system is steel structure. The project was started in late May 2009 and completed in 2010.

Transportation route: take the train to xiongyuecheng station, then take No.204 to Bayuquan. High speed railway Bayuquan station can reach Shanhai square in ten minutes

Zodiac in the sea

Another highlight of Shanhai square is the sculpture of the twelve zodiac animals on the sea. The zodiac, which we usually know well, has completely changed here. People here enjoy these marine animals, in addition to fresh, curious, but also add some other joy. Creativity, conception and content are based on the legend of human shark.
