Huya Grand Canyon

Huya Grand Canyon is located in the northwest edge of Sichuan Basin and southeast of Xuebaoding, the main peak of Minshan Mountain. It is only 9.8 km away from the auxiliary line of the ninth Ring Road (Pingsong highway), 70 km away from Huanglong Temple, 220 km away from Jiuzhaigou and 230 km away from Mianyang City.

Located in Xuebaoding National Nature Reserve, huyazang Township, Pingwu County, Sichuan Province, Huya Grand Canyon has a rare domestic and world-class reputation. It is a deep mountain treasure - Huya eco-tourism boutique scenic spot comparable to Jiuzhai and Huanglong.

geographical environment

The scenic spot is located in Huya Tibetan Township, 68 kilometers northwest of Pingwu County. The township covers an area of 484 square kilometers and has 2600 Tibetan and Han people. It borders Songpan County of Aba Prefecture from east to west. The highest altitude of Xuebaoding is 5588 meters (the highest peak in Mianyang City), and the lowest altitude of Huya pass is 1400 meters. Huya ecotourism boutique scenic spot belongs to the experimental area of Xuebaoding National Nature Reserve, covering an area of nearly 100 square kilometers, accounting for about 16% of the total area of Xuebaoding National Nature Reserve; the scenic spot has high mountains and deep valleys, and large river drop, most of which are plateau type mountains on the east slope of Minshan mountains, mainly in the form of extremely high mountains, high mountains, and middle mountains; the scenic spot is a tourist attraction The resources are extremely rich, which are mainly composed of deep mountains and valleys, alpine waterfalls, strange peaks and rocks, geological relics, virgin forests, alpine flowers and other elements. 1. Huya Grand Canyon is 30 kilometers long, with an average depth of 500 meters and a width of 10-30 meters. Huya River in the canyon is a tributary of Fujiang River, roaring and galloping, suitable for drifting.

2. Waterfall

(1) Dalongkou waterfall: 25 meters high, 20 meters wide, shaped like a dragon head, there is a beautiful legend of Lama cutting demon dragon, 3 kilometers away from the forest road.

(2) A waterfall: 50 meters high, 2 meters wide, like a silver line from the sky.

(3) Huihuixuan waterfall: 500 meters high and 20 meters wide.

(4) Zibaishan waterfall: more than 1000 meters high and more than 10 meters wide.

(5) Wuzhutang waterfall: 50 meters high and 10 meters wide, known as the first waterfall under Xuebaoding.

(6) Huahua horizontal ditch waterfall group: there are 9 waterfalls, which are distributed in the 5 km gorge. Among them, there are 3 waterfalls, 300 meters high and more than 10 meters wide.

(7) Lalagou waterfall group of Yaqiang River: there are more than 40 waterfalls distributed in 20 km Canyon, 80 meters high and 3 meters wide.

3. High mountain

The five above 5000 meters above sea level are 5588 meters in Xuebaoding and 5068 meters in Sanya Qiang. There are 9 peaks at an altitude of 4000-5000 meters.

4. Lakes

The most famous huahaizi and lvhaizi, with a surface area of more than 10000 square meters, are located at the junction of Huya and Songpan county.

5. Pingba grassland

It is 4 km long and 1 km wide, with an average temperature of 18 ℃ and 19.6 km to Huya Township People's government. It is suitable for building service facilities such as summer resort and parking lot. Our county has completed the construction of outdoor camp in Pingba area.
