Xiangujing

Xiangujing is located in the north gate of Tongcheng City, near chaixiangkou to Huangjia highway. The outer diameter of the grayish brown coarse stone well circle is 53cm, the height is 43cm, and the well depth is 3.74M. There is a stone platform under the well circle, with an area of 1.87 square meters. According to Tongcheng county annals of the Republic of China, "in the early days of the Tang Dynasty, every time a Buddhist monk of Datong drowned, a deer came to drink. For a long time, a deer produced a ball of meat, which split and had a girl. When he was 12 years old, he ordered him to go down the mountain and said," when you meet firewood, you will stop, when you meet what you will return. "When you come to a family at the entrance of Chai lane, you will live there, take what is your surname, and keep the precepts and practice to gain the Tao.".

Folk legend has it that the well is where he Xiangu practices. The well is shallow, the spring is clear, the sweet alcohol is like wine, the whirlpool is full, the well water is more than a bucket, and it is inexhaustible all the year round. There is "Xiangu Temple" in the south of the well. A horizontal plaque of "Xiangu Temple" is inlaid on the door, which is the Yin carving of seal script in 1875.
