Gongjitai Park

Gongjitai, formerly known as Xuanwu terrace, was built in the early years of the Song Dynasty with a height of 6 meters. On the terrace, there was a Jinhuai tower, surrounded by Zhaoyang academy, Quzi temple, Lvbo Pavilion, haiguang tower, etc. From afar, pavilions, scattered, verdant trees, flowers.

In ancient and modern times, scholars and poets once wrote poems and Fu on Gongji platform, leaving many excellent works, among which Kong Shangren, the most famous one, is the author of Peach Blossom Fan. He once lived in haiguanglou for a long time and wrote the famous play peach blossom fan. At present, Gongji terrace is close to Nanhe river. Tourists can take a yacht to row from the sea pool and go directly under Gongji terrace.
