COFCO smart farm

"COFCO smart farm" is a Chinese urban farm built by COFCO group and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It is located in the core area of "COFCO agricultural ecological Valley". Covering a total area of 17200 mu, it is planned to invest 36 billion yuan to build an ecological satellite city with modern urban agriculture, high-end industry and harmonious rural life.

More than ten international leading demonstration agricultural technologies are applied here, which can make the plants growing in the greenhouse have sufficient sunshine, moderate moisture and suitable "soil" as if they were living in nature. Tourists can fully understand the agricultural science knowledge and the new "wisdom" about science and technology, ecology, environmental protection and energy conservation. There are seven greenhouses in Yixin, each of which has its own characteristics, bringing you a magical journey like science fiction.

COFCO smart farm

COFCO smart farm is a key agricultural project jointly constructed by COFCO and CAAS. It is located in the middle of "agricultural ecological Valley in Beijing, China".

As a representative of China's domestic high-tech farms, COFCO smart farm has realized the coverage of "whole industry chain" and "whole service chain", creating a one-stop ecological chain from field to dining table.

COFCO smart farm is located in Liulihe town in the south of Fangshan District, Beijing. As an important part of the project of "agricultural ecological Valley in Beijing, China", it has a planning area of 1178 mu, and is composed of seven core areas of "one heart and six gardens", including smart Agriculture Center, and six outdoor theme parks, such as flower field stroll, ranch leisurely song, countryside memory, countryside collection, forest picking and Eden searching.

COFCO smart farm has applied a total of 7 world leading technologies, 11 domestic leading technologies and 9 patent technologies of CAAS to build the world's first agricultural complex highly integrated with new energy, water-saving agriculture, circular agriculture, intelligence, Internet of things and other technologies.

"One heart" refers to the smart agriculture center, which is an agricultural complex built by using cutting-edge technologies from all over the world, including seven theme greenhouses, namely, smart agriculture experience hall, vertical agricultural technology comprehensive hall, mushroom factory, urban horticulture hall, COFCO nature classroom, flower factory and eggplant factory.

The six gardens include six outdoor theme areas with their own characteristics: flower field walk, ranch leisurely song, country memory, countryside collection, forest picking and Eden searching.

The completion of the project received praise from all walks of life. Yu Xubo, member of the Party group and President of COFCO group, praised the great contribution made by the central Yida team to COFCO group. Lin Keqing, vice mayor of Beijing, highly affirmed the project created by central Yida company for COFCO group when investigating COFCO smart farm. He said that the project was too shocking and comprehensive.

With the concept of "nature, ecology, green and health", the farm not only provides an international window for the display and exchange of China's advanced agricultural technology, but also provides a world-class green ecological experience destination for the general public. According to the data, Beijing Agricultural Ecological Valley is a key construction project of Beijing Municipal Government during the 12th Five Year Plan period. It is located in Liulihe Town, Fangshan District, about 38 km away from the urban area of Beijing, covering a total area of 17200 mu (11.4 square kilometers). COFCO has spent five to eight years to build a world-class ecological satellite city integrating modern urban agriculture, brand food and health industry, and rural life.
