Morningstar Island

Chenxing island is located in the sand dune island of Songhua River in the north of Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. It is composed of 10 islands, 6 km long from east to west and 3 km long from north to south, covering an area of 11.25 square kilometers. It is the largest island in the Songhua River Basin.

Chenxing island has many trees, such as poplar, pine, elm, shandingzi, shanlihong, Shanshu, Cinnamomum camphora and willow, especially willow, so it is commonly known as "willow island".

There are more than 20 kinds of birds such as pheasant and water duck, and small animals such as rabbits.

From June to August every year, the whole island is covered with green shade, flowers are fragrant, birds are chirping, elegant and quiet, with the characteristics of plain and rough wilderness scenery.

In winter, you can skate, ski, catch fish on the river, and watch the tree hanging.

Liushu Island, also known as Liushu Island, is located in the middle of Songhua River in the north of Jiamusi city. It is 5.6 km long from east to west and 2.7 km long from north to south, with a total area of 10.57 square kilometers. There are some farmland and a small number of simple recreational facilities, without complete flood control works.

The landscape of Liushu island is mainly based on the natural scenery of Northeast China. It is planned to build a comprehensive scenic spot with strong local characteristics of Northeast China. The architectural style is mainly based on the style of folk houses of various nationalities in Northeast China. With the rugged beauty of northeast wilderness, it attracts people to go for summer, recreation, picnics and wild bathing. In winter, it attracts tourists by watching ice and snow and carrying out ice and snow activities.

In spring, the temperature rises, the wind is strong and the drought is easy; in summer, it is warm and rainy, and the climate is humid; in autumn, it is cool, and the temperature drops sharply; in winter, it is long and cold, and the climate is dry. There are 7 months (April to October) with the average temperature above 0 ℃.

Ice and snow began to melt in early March, soil began to thaw in late March, began to freeze in early November, and began to freeze in mid November. The depth of frozen soil can reach 1.2 meters.
