Rencheng Mausoleum of Han Dynasty
Near Xiaowangzhuang, the northern suburb of Jining City, the Royal Mausoleum of Rencheng city in the Han Dynasty, there were nine large earth tombs, which were listed as hills and hills. The masses were commonly known as "jiunu mound" or "Jiumi mound". Due to years of wind and rain erosion and man-made destruction, there are only four earth tombs on the ground. According to relevant data, these earth tombs are the tombs of Rencheng king and his concubines in the Eastern Han Dynasty.
Introduction to scenic spots
In 1977, it was announced as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in Shandong Province. With the approval of the cultural relics department at a higher level, Jining Municipal Bureau of cultural relics rescued, excavated and restored the No.1 Han tomb from 1992 to 1995, reproducing the magnificent landscape of the underground palace of Rencheng King's mausoleum in the Eastern Han Dynasty. No.1 Han Tomb of Xiaowangzhuang was excavated, but many cultural relics are still unearthed, among which three jades are national first-class cultural relics. Especially important is the inscription of nearly 800 inscriptions on the stone wall, which is a major archaeological discovery in Han Dynasty. The content of the inscription is mainly the names of the stone workers and stone senders. The calligraphy style is the folk Han Li calligraphy. It is a typical work of popular Li calligraphy in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is of great value to study the evolution of ancient Chinese characters and the art of calligraphy. No. 1 Han tomb in Xiaowangzhuang is the first one to be restored and opened to the public among the Eastern Han tombs excavated so far in China. Among the two known Han tombs, the largest number of carved stones has been unearthed, so it is very precious. Since its opening in 1996, it has attracted a large number of foreign scholars and tourists.
historical significance
According to the analysis of excavation data, the tomb was buried in the early Eastern Han Dynasty, and the owner of the tomb was Liu Shang, the first king of Rencheng state in the Eastern Han Dynasty. He was the second son of Liu Cang, the constitutional king of Dongping, and the grandson of Liu Xiu, Emperor Guangwu. It is in line with the system of the mausoleum of the princes and kings in the Han Dynasty. The shape and structure of this tomb can be compared with that of Dabaotai in Beijing and Han Tombs in old Shanxi. It has its own characteristics in the large tombs of the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is an important material material for studying the development and evolution of the burial system of princes and kings in the Han Dynasty. No. 1 Han tomb has been excavated, but many cultural relics are still unearthed, three of which are national first-class cultural relics.
